Truth. I was following Clark's progress, and I've been exposed to more WNBA play in the past few weeks than in the previous history of the league, but I'm about done at this point. When Clark gets knocked out for the season (or permanently) due to injury, the WNBA coaches and head office will have been entirely complicit in the outcome. I wish Clark well, but as for the league overall, I hope it fades out of existence quickly. As a whole, the women are far worse sportsmen and more vicious than the NBA men have ever been (and that's not a compliment). There have been, and are, bad actors in the men's sport as well, but they don't have league support for trying to maim their main stars. I'm done...

Probably because racism is an equal opportunities employer* - it exists between every colour of skin imaginable. To suggest that only white folk can be racist or bigoted is just ignorance. If a black American goes to Africa thinking they will experience a feeling of belonging or being home then they’re in for a shock. The locals saw them as Americans first, and entirely clueless and ill informed about any of the issues surrounding the lives of locals (seem to recall a tv show that followed some African Americans going to Africa, needless to say it was not a resounding success) and they ran back to America asap. *just to show that it’s not a white vs black thing. Look at the distrust and outright hatred between Pakistanis (muslims) and Indians (mostly Hindus). Even though they use religious nonsense to justify their behaviour, they all come from the same sub-continent and are, for the most part, all the same colour. There are some in India that are lower caste (the untouchables) that are treated appallingly by the higher castes, but the caste system is something they blame the British for, yet after 80+ years of independence they haven’t done anything to remove this disgusting form of racism. (As a Brit I don’t understand why there are these divisions into African American when they’re just all Americans. We don’t separate our population into subsets unless it’s for the census every 10-years, otherwise we’re all British) Too many people are just basically rude, racist, ignorant, bigots and it’s not going to change in my lifetime.

It shows how fragile their egos are. Men all know that there is only one man and don't give a f#@k, they will still challenge them and don't care if they get bested. They know that is just how life is and can accept it. For so many women, they demand the world comes to halt, in order for them to come to terms with the fact that they might not be better than someone else, and it doesn't even have to be the best player.
