I learned to crochet again 2 days ago. I learned it back when I was a kid at school (I was in a ‘special kind of school’ as a kid, a Steiner school and we did so much: knitting, crochet, working in the garden, working with wood, embroider, drawing, painting,…). I wanted to learn it again to make cute plushies later on :) i really like your videos, you’re my favorite crochet related youtuber!
When I make my bucket hats I crochet in a continuous circle. When I do my last stitch I then do 3 single crochets in the next 3 stitch’s and then I do 2 slip stitch’s in the next 2 stitches and fastened off. Hopefully you can understand this. Good luck

Hi! I have been crocheting for about a year and a half! Don’t worry, doing a simple chain was so hard for me at the beginning 😭 I think a scrunchie, headband, or simple top would be great for a beginner.
