The avoidance of garlic makes sense for a couple of reasons. One, the Queen just simply might not like the taste or texture of it, which is common because it can be overpowering. Also, think of all the people she and the other royals have to meet and speak to on a daily basis. The last thing they’d want or need is to have garlic breath. I’m guessing those reasons are why onions are to be used in strict moderation too.
@@wendynichols6946 - I know plenty who do ... but I believe the Queen avoids garlic and onions because she doesn’t want herself or her guests, to have the scents on their breath!😽
I love her outfits with matching hats...sharp! Does she ever wear the same outfits...it doesn't seem so. She can pass all of her clothes and hats to me. That's my style.
I think she's looking tremendous of Late.Everything she wears suits her.Especially those Hats...It's a particular Lady who dresses the Queen and she's doing a stirllng Job.. Going back; there was a time when she was looking kind of frumpy...but not Now ,,QE is resplendant in every colour.
She sure is a healthy eater. No wonder she looks so good at 95 and going strong. However, I think I would rather live a short life and eat how I do now!!! What, no starches?? No milk chocolate!! Well kudos to her Royal Highness on such great self control.
@@wendynichols6946I love slated caramel foxes biscuits most mornings after my wetabix. One of my favourite breakfasts because being Queen of Wales myself is tiring as hell especially after my illness
@@c.a.9167 When in America, dear, please use proper English. "Favorite" is the American standard of spelling here in the U.S. When in England, we use the British standard of spelling, in which case it would be "favourite." Now get off your high horse and go educate yourself. Btw, should you feel compelled to ignorantly correct someone else, please remember this is yt, not an English grammar forum. 🤫
@@Suzanne1999 I'm all for correct spelling and grammar but I don't get why someone would "correct" American English. It IS correct, just different. Agree on the cake. Yummy.
I love the newer video of paddington bear with the queen. I love that she says she keeps a marmalade sandwich in her purse just like he does in his hat
RIP in peace HRH Queen Elizabeth 11,💐.A disciplined gracious lady of substance and class, a great role model whose shoes would be very hard to fill, condolences to her loved ones and the citizens of UK and the citizens of the Commonwealth and people around the world who also loved and admired her greatly.
I just adore HRH. She is totally awesome and also probably the wealthiest lady in the entire world. If I had that money I would be constantly busy helping the poor. It would be such fun to help millions of people.
I just simply Love Her. Thing is, I don't even Know her but, from what I read she's everything I wish I were! I even have the same indulgence especially the darker chocolate the better. Xo

I recently followed her daily routine, woke up at 7 : 30 and drink Earl Grey tea with biscuits. It was soooo relaxing. I want to follow Princess Margaret daily routine, which is having breakfast in bed and smoke a lot of cigarettes, they said it’s so glamorous. But i didn’t see how it was considered glamorous tho?
To have breakfast in bed, you need staff, which comes quite expensive. Alcohol and cigarettes might sound glamorous, but you'll most likely smoke & drink your- self to an early grave!
@@SassyyjuicyMaria not necessarily. I have a tea maker beside my bed for Earl Grey tea. If I bring up a tray and the breakfast items that can be eaten cold or uncooked like cereal etc the night before then I can have those with no staff. Just get a small fridge for milk, butter etc.
11:11:When you reach your 90th year and beyond, having a glass of Champagne is as much a "Thank you" as it is a chance to relax and unwind. May Her Majesty have much more champagne in moderation. She has certainly earned it and the chance to say "thank you" every evening and many more to come.
Lanson is amazing champagne. I had attended a wine taste earlier in the day before heading for an art exhibit in the evening. I was ill from crappy champagne being shopped at the tasting and thought I`d pass on refreshment that night. But for some reason I decided to try a glass as they were serving Lanson. My G-d, what champagne! Dry, refreshing. Doesn`t back up so no inebriation or hangover. If I ever win the Pools, it`s a bottle once a week. Oh yes! The Queen knows how to live. In moderation but moderated by the right variables.
Before she had to be Queen, she worked during the war ,driving ( which she admitted she loved doing ) ,helping to keep the people’s hopes up,doing what they would let her do. That’s why the people love her so much! What she did during the war and when she had to become Queen is very hard to do ,so read a book about her life / family and I think you will be surprised!
nobody knows about birth and death..... but to be healthy is a choice.... even if life is short there's no harm in adapting a disciplined n healthy lifestyle.
I understand the garlic, the smell not only comes through the breath, but through the pores of the skin, and is quite potent and vile. As good as they are for the body, and as good as they taste in so many foods and dishes the world over, garlic and onions are rather difficult to avoid. So many ethnic dishes feature them as the profiling flavors and depend on their presence to make them what they are. That is quite a work around for the chefs who worked for her!
I met the queen when I was younger. She taught me how to be myself. She was amazing, I couldn’t believe it when I heard the terrible news. Here I am today 13 years old living my life going through the terribleness times of my time because of the disaster the queen has made. She will always be missed. I love you Elizabeth III.
Saddest day this year, I will try this for the next 2 months as a challenge to see if it improves my state, especially after what I ate tonight, but it was my sisters birthday
So. I finally heard of someone who eats marmalade. It has been a mystery to me why it is on the supermarket shelves, when I do not meet anyone that actually admits to eating it. It’s like the 13th wonder of the world?
Garlic and onions cause ibs issues for ppl who are sensitive to it. I dont have either in my home ever. Tho occasionally I will eat garlic at a restaurant but pay dearly for it later with bad guts for 3-4 days Queen prolly had sensitivities too or didnt like the smell. Garlic and onions stink lol
It is a well known fact that garlic is off limits due to the smell after eating it. But I wouldn't expect anyone who uses the word "fancy", to actuall know that.
Boiled egg at morning with drink with bread finest wheat. Lunch steack of meat. With little salt. No pepper no any kind of hot pepper. Milk at dinner. Stop alcohol. :)
okay enough stories about our late Beloved Queen, i want to hear new stories about the Current King and Queen, and the living members of the royal family.
Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the struggles and madness in this world today, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He will help us through the struggle, the stress, and anything we experience in the world. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves, we need Him to help us as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. Christ says in John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] - (AMPLIFIED version) NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Regardless of what you've done or what you're going through you CAN make it through Jesus. X
It's very easy to make carbs very tasty. To make vegetables tasty takes a bit more effort. But if you have a private chef of high skill then it's also very easy to kick carbs to the curb.
