I like the cunning hare's dynamic but this felt more like a Nicole teaser than an Anby teaser. Hopefully we see more of Anby's character in the demo

Loved the dynamic of starting the story, going through the flash back to contextualize the viewer and then going back to the actual moment. This game is promising and clearly designed by talented people. Congrats!

The combat experience in the beta is absolutely nuts!! Imo the english dialogue is a lot smoother, props to the VAs! Excited for the good music as always!

My beloved Anby

They really are a fun team, Each of them is also very interesting in its own way

Even though this is supposed to be an Anby trailer, it feels more akin to a “Cunning Hares Squad Introduction” trailer. Anby herself arguably has the least impact within the scene compared to Billy or Nicole, and she’s acting more as a narrator to the general events rather than the focus of the overall trailer. It ends up feeling like a “second-person perspective” story, where Anby is the perspective character, but plays a supporting role to the trailer story’s actual protagonist, Nicole, since Nicole is the one with who has the main conflict (bankruptcy) and is taking the initiative to resolve it. Think of it like a Watson to Holmes, or Nick to Gatsby situation. That said... there just might be no way to realistically frame this well, since Anby seems to be the soft-spoken, professional member of the trio. So it'll be hard to make her stand out regardless. At any rate, it's a notable step down from Billy, presentation-wise. Guess we'll see how Nicole's looks in a few days.

I love the artstyle

ZZZ might be a game you shouldn't be sleeping on. I like the artstyle + I hope the game is gonna have a decent amount of content early on. I already play Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail and I think that I might have to add ZZZ to the list aswell. :)

Animation is wild 🔥

The Cunning Hares trio remind me of Lupin III. There personalities don’t align perfectly but Nicole reminds me of Lupin, Billy reminds me of Jigen Daisuke, and Anby reminds me of Goemon Ishikawa. That said the Cunning Hares also swap personality traits with other characters. Nicole’s smug savviness reminds me of Fujiko for example, and Billy has that rowdy go-getter attitude that Lupin has. Anby is very similar to Goemon both in the role that she plays in the team as well as personality. A lot of these similarities are surface level and at most are probably just sly nods if anything else. The cunning hates are younger than Lupin’s gang and their individual characters play off of each other very differently. That said, the group does have a similar vibe that carry over from the inspiration and that’s one thing I like about the Cunning Hares.
