De Ligt terrifies me. Missed 20 games last season due to injuries. He's had lots of knee injuries. I hope it works out, but this might be another player on high wages out injured 10-20 games every season.

De Ligt is a leader and very good in the air and tackling. He's also quick on his feet and quick reacting to danger. However, he's not especially quick running and he's injury prone (bad injury last season missing 20 games in all) which worries me a little, but if you look at what United already got only Martinez is a better CB so if the transfer fee is around £40m it's a good deal.

De Ligt won’t be a massive upgrade on Maguire. We need a pacy CB x 2. He’s done nothing at Juve or Bayern. Don’t overpay for him no more than £30 mill and no more than £125k wages. If he does well we could increase it but he’s not coming from a position of strength.

Def do not want DeLigt on a 5 yr deal.. buying another player that had huge talent at Ajax but then never hit the heights. Went on to be average at Juve and Crapped out at Bayern Munich. We need to wake up and get players who are building up and not plateauing or faltering. Gonna be a HUGE mistake!

If u think he's tapper off that much in his career then you obviously don't watch him. He's been underwhelming due to constant injuries this season and was their best defender prior to that
