The movie. As it went on and on. My throat swelled up, then it fell into my heart. Then my heart fell in my stomach. Then I shit it all emotionally.

Oh god I can’t shake off this movie

Milly Shapiro is so sweet, smart, ambitious and cute. Amazing actress, even with little dialogue in the film she performed wonderful. And even though she's not in this interview, Toni Collette....I DON'T HAVE WORD for her performance...it was simply mindblowing. The crying, the emotions, facial expressions (the way she portrayed a grieving mother) was Oscar worthy.

Stranger Things should have a story arc for Dustin's twin sister to come into play... Such talented and adorable girl!

This is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The story is so layered that it must be rewatched multiple times to fully appreciate its message. It’s like a puzzle piecing all the information together. Truly brilliant cinema. I came to the conclusion that the ultimate message, is basically what it says on the tin... it’s hereditary. But for the Graham’s, what they have inherited from generations that came before them is hell on earth. Unbeknownst to the Graham family, they all have the Demon Paimon running through their bloodline. (Only the cult are aware of this fact and orchestrate every scenario to help Paimon get a male host) Annie, Peter and Charlie each have their personal “self”, but also in them they have a demon soul bursting to break free and take full control of the host. This excludes the father, who is somewhat a literal and metaphorical saint throughout the movie. We are watching a war of Good vs Evil taking place within each of the main characters. Each one from the mother’s bloodline is tainted with this Demon who ultimately wants to be a male and be the sole ruler / king Paimon, and will kill even its own family members to get there. Annie sleep walking is actually Paimon taking control. This is why she attempts to burn them while they sleep. It’s Paimon trying to destroy any threat to his throne. Even subconsciously, Annie has resentment towards Peter as he is ultimately a better host for Paimon and Annie knows this, subconsciously. You can see they each have basically a split personality. Their true self, and also their inherited Demonic bloodline. It makes you question your own family history and how little we know of where we originally come from, what runs through our own bloodline?? This is ultimately what cut to the core of me after studying this film. Absolute masterful piece of art from Ari Aster. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 way more stuff happens that ties in with this theory but you need to see it for yourself to fully appreciate it. I highly recommend you watch this movie multiple times, it will change you. Thanks for stopping by 💋

I don't know what it is... I can't explain it.... but there's something about Alex that just makes me want to give it to him...

Ari did an EXCELLENT job at traumatizing people with this film. This is so much more than a horror movie and I love it.

I actually almost never listened to Actors and Directors and looked up for long interviews with those individuals ever before.. And now I see myself wanting more of the mind and people behind this piece of emotional art.. One of the best cult movies I see becoming a heritage of the genre in the future!

Possibly the best movie of the last decade. So well thought out and put together, everything has purpose. Can watch it again and again and pick up little things you missed. Also, the foreshadowing is second to none. Really nice work

Milly Shapiro is an amazing actress. I was amazed by all of the actors but especially Milly. Charlie was creepy as hell.

Probably THE most disturbing film ever made. I only watched out of curiosity, but I regret it, as afterwards I couldn't sleep for a few months. I also felt so disturbed I think it affected me mentally. I wouldn't reccomed if your easily shaken.

By far one of the most disturbing and truly frightening movies I've seen in a very long time. I'm still a little creeped out after watching it 2 days ago. Highly recommend if you're into some fucked up shit lol

I barely saw some parts of the movie of course they were the most traumatic I’ve ever seen. I had to watch an interview or something to see that sweet Molly(Charlie) was alright, honestly couldn’t stop thinking about it and I cried like I baby. Probably because her character reminds me of my little sister being so shy and awkward...I’m relieved she’s doing well
