@@paulmidsussex3409 : many of these Livestock end up as family members. They also don’t get that special stamp like is on products at your grocery store… I can’t think what they’re called at this moment… the stamp with the lines on them that the checkout at the grocery stores laser reads and goes beep when the checker passes the product over the laser. (Many refer it as ‘The Mark of the Devil’, anyway. Many farm families regard them as family pets…. This young Bull appears to be one of their beloved, but has responsibilities to them too.
It seems like he's looking at the person filming him to see if they are still watching him play . Lol. Wow so sweet .. like he's showing off and saying are you still watching me.
Perfect example of why animals deserve all the love, care and compassion. Gonna share this with everyone I know that's "questioning" the fact that animals indeed have emotions, they're not just fleshy shells of instincts! This bull is having FUN!
Jay Bird1979 oh, relax! I don't even remember writing that. You've entered the universe's free-for-all: The RU-vid comment section. A lot of us jackasses are high or drunk, or both, when writing these posts lol
Nor Dic I grew up on a huge farm that milked & butchered. But it’s been quite a while, I think I remember there was only a couple of bulls in the herd & their only job was to knock up the females. And I think they only put them with the herd certain times of the year. They had lots of “stimulation” depending on the time of year. You catch my drift?👉👌
Kristjan Jonsson, LoL these type videos are probably put out by the animal welfare groups, PETA, etc. (Which is fine as long as they aren't militant about it.) But this li'l doggie would play Fetch if you threw a ball across the yard, i just know it. I would be a terrible rancher, I'd make all the stock into pets! Then go buy crap grocery store meat to serve the family.
Hell, leave him alone for a little while and he'd have that stuff spread out all by himself. He was having fun running into those big chunks. Not as much fun once spread.
Benny Hill, Agreed; nobody can tell me that animal is not expressing what humans call happiness. Even if we're wrong about that, I for one am happier than i was before! 😁
This makes me so happy... and this is one HAPPY BULL 😍😍😁😁 so playful and enjoying life, why can’t all animals have it this way ?? Thanks to the farmer who done this 👏🏼
You do know this bull's going to be on someone's dinner table, right? Farmers are raising cattle to make a living. You and I prob see "pets" whereas farmers are doing what farmers do. Make a living by raising and "harvesting" cattle. As cute as this big guy is, I still like to eat beef. After watching this video, I kinda feel guilty.....
Tara Zimmerman, Me too, sadly. I doubt i could become a vegetarian, though. I decided to just enjoy the heck out of this funny bull and keep eating steak every now n then. God did say to eat everything, dominion and all that, didnt He?
All the more reason to lessen the amount of meat intake a bit, and if you do eat meat, buy good biological meat from cows like these that had happy lives.
@@youresoakinginit2113 No... "God" never ACTUALLY said ANYTHING... Men put words in an invented deity's mouth to control their counterparts. Eat meat because you want to, not because some Middle Eastern guy wrote that his people could, 5000 years ago... Just remember that ALL creatures FEEL, joy, love, pain, sadness (such as when this bull was small and taken from his Mom) and the rest of the same feelings that you have, since we are all mammals and have similar attachments. And remember that there are many other foods that are in fact healthier for you AND for the Earth than eating massive beasts... This is not sustainable for a population climbing to 9.5 billion in a few years.
Wow!! Years ago we had family that owned farms, and I can honestly say, I have NEVER SEEN a bull this doggone playful...!! Sure am grateful to have gotten to see it today!! Thank you so much for sharing this...you made my day!!!💜 Peace....
He just about had the zoomies as he was running around the tractor! I love white-faced Herefords - they are so beautiful with their red curly hair and white curly faces. This one, in particular, because of his cute personality and that ring around his eye. 🐂❤️🥰
I love Herefords - they must be one of most placid and sweet natured of all cattle. We had a hereford bull that used to come right up to the house and poke its nose in at the kitchen window!
We treat all of our animals with respect and provide them with what is needed to thrive. It is really the only way to operate a ranch. People that put animals through unnecessary stress and abuse should not be raising cattle as a profession. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I really wish that everyone that works with livestock had the same approach as you! So many animals end up suffering unnecessarily due to human greed for quick profit.
JazzB, Yes, and I'd wager the stress-raised beef is much less healthy to consume, may even promote inflammation, which is the basis of most disease. With due diligence, and the understanding beforehand that it will cost more, we consumers could have an affect on all of that. Just don't purchase beef from stock that is under constant state of stress. (See, "due diligence", above) It takes tons of work but can be done.
I used to bed down my cattle in a big pole barn with small sqaures, i had a Case combine with a spike tooth cylinder, that made the best straw, easy to shake out. Makes a northern farmer feel good knowing that his stock has a good place to bed down on those cold nights.
We bale up weeds into big bales for our calves during the winter out in Utah - when the snow hits, we throw one on the feed truck and flake it off. The cows will tear it up picking out the grass and the calves hunker down in the dry matter left over. Nothing better than happy babies!
@@missyb9438 Before you get your panties in a twist, please remember that someone's lifestyle that works to support hundreds of others' lives does not make it wrong, simply because it doesn't support your way of thinking. Those cows are adored and taken care of, and we do send a lot of them on to feed lots to fulfill a different purpose when they're weaned. You may not like it, and that's okay. But I won't change your thinking and you won't change mine. Cattle are not items to us, and we have a lot of respect for them and we owe it to them to keep that respect all down the production line. Have a blessed holiday weekend ✌
I like how you allow your animals to have some fun! Overall I think your animals are happy living creatures! Haven't seen that many farm animals living the way you let them live.
What is funny is that I give my sheep shredded Mini Wheats as a treat. I left the door open one day when it was cool, and one of them came into the living room looking for Mini Wheats.
@@knewledge8626 My mother use to make it for me, for breakfast on those cold winter mornings before school. I sometimes still have it, but its expensive in the West Coast. :/
Makes me so happy seeing happy farm animals! I'm not vegan or anything, but it still makes me sad seeing how big-brand farmers usually treat their animals. Always a treat seeing responsible farmers who give the creatures enough space to run around and have fun!!
He is happy because the farmer is someone with the heart who treats the animals with a respect. Even one day his life will end to feed , at least he lived his life in the normal conditions. Kudos to the farmer for the fair treatment.
