Because scripture says God highly exalted Jesus and has given Him a name above every other name that at the mention o the Name Jesus, every knee must bow, of things in heaven, of things in the earth and of things under the earth and every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father. When the disciples baptized after Jesus ascension, they baptized in the name of Jesus. As such, when we call the name Jesus we are calling on the God head as a whole. That’s how I understand the name of Jesus.

Those saying Dr Damina needs prayers that he's preaching false doctrine they will soon shout glory glory as they keep listening.

I humbly, but strongly disagree! This is heretical of course, in so many ways--I cannot even respond to a few of them! The statement "in the name of" does not actually mean or imply any mention of the name itself, rather it means: in the "honor of", "cause of", "purpose of", or even, in certain places, in the "place of" or "stead of". The Bible teaches generally (not mentions) the concept of the Trinity; that the Father is the true God (John 17:3), and Jesus is God because, He is begotten of the Father, and the Spirit is God, because He procees out of the Father. The thrust of this video's message violates and trivializes this profound and core Christian truth. So, can we do anything, including baptize to the cause and purposes of the Father, the Son and the Spirit? Absolutely yes!!! This is the principle of Col 3:17, which does not imply mentioning the name itself. Often in the New Testament, the Father is simply called “God” while Jesus is called “the Lord,” though this is a general principle rather than a strict rule. We know that the Father is also called Lord (LORD is Old Testament naming convention), the Spirit is also called Lord and God. So, there is totally nothing wrong with the phrase "in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost". Am afraid, this man is mislesading many with his dishonest interpretations, perhaps trying to sound sensational. This is why teachers will have a more severe judgement. He is contradicting himself abundantly and using subtle misinterpretations to misrepresent what the Bible is actually saying. He will confuse the simple-minded and young in the faith. For instance, on the question of "Can someone lose their salvation?", which is very easy issue to resolve, Dr. Abel intentionally violates a principle he has mentioned only a minute prior--the law of double mention! When we look at many parts of the Bible and collectively aggregate their meaning, we get the whole truth/counsel of God; which shows abundantly that, while nothing and no one can snatch you from Christ, yourself you can always leave Him in several intentional acts of disobedience. The citation of John 10:28 is not even an appropriate answer to the question at hand at all. Jesus is saying that indeed no one can forcefully take the elect from Him (He uses the word "snatch"); He's not at all addressing the issue of if the elect themselves can never walk away from Him--of course, we can always violate, abandon or neglect what we have received--the bible warns us sternly of potential way we can lose our salvation or miss the mark of attaining unto it!! Notwithstanding that, everything eternal ostensibly given now in this life, is only given by faith--that is, on the basis that we will continue to be in Christ to the end. Salvation itself, will only actually be received when Jesus returms, no one is actually saved--we are only saved by faith!! We have abundant biblical admonition and warning, for instance, with the example of Israel violating, abandoning or neglecting their covenant with God, did God spare them??! Absolutely, not!!!

The truth is that everyone needs to be very careful, and also open minded when listening to such teachings, and not just from him alone, but we believers should be careful the way we listen to preachers. We have a lot of baby Christians today who just take everything especially those who think their man of God is the only perfect one, and every other preacher is saying nonsense. In the time of the apostles it wasn't so. If Paul had not visited the Corinthians church where Apollos thought, he wouldn't have corrected the errors of Apollos, and guess what? The believers would've been limited or void of knowledge. So please brethren, let us not be the limitations of our own growth. These diversities in our churches today will never reveal Christ to the world. Did you remember the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:20-21? He prays for us to be one, and explains that our unity will be the reason why the world will believe that He was sent by God. So please let's kill this evil mindset in us and keep our heart open for the Holy Spirit to walk in and through our lives. Even the owner of this channel, I've observed that she doesn't only post messages of one preacher, and I've not seen her posting unfruitful content here. That's a heart of one who help to spread the Gospel. What the people need to hear, it doesn't matter which man of God, as long as it will help believers to grow, why then limit ourselves?

All the new versions so far that I have read on Matthew 28:18-20, including NLT and The Message included the TRINITY. Don't let him deceive you. You can loose your salvation. Read the book of revelations. I cast out demons in your name... e.t.c, but the LORD replied unto them I know you not. Yes we are saved by faith and grace alone, and that salvation causes us to grow in the spirit, and bear the fruits of the spirit, which is a sign of our salvation, as the spirit bears witness that you are saved. Father son and holy ghost , are one, 1 john 5, so whether added to that passage to complete it or not it’s legal because baptizing in Jesus is same as trinity they are one.
