My husband likes racing even when he doesn't know the driver.. once he's driving and you overtake him p3, the race is on.. I'm always complaining but he claims he's very careful.. I've shared the link with him.. when he comes home, we'll watch this video together.. KSS and chill.. he must repent today aswear! In 2009/10 I foolishly joined area boys to go for Temafest all the way from Dansoman. As usual there was racing between the group I was in and the other group just like this situation. Long story short the bonnet of the car opened and hit the windscreen. I'm only writing this today by Gods grace. I was a very good boy only trying to do life like everyone else. Gave my life to Christ afterwards. Guys the roads are for commuting not entertainment. If you want to entertain yourself on the road, do that responsibly.

It's very true last year. I nearly had an accident on the accra kumasi road because of trying to overtake these long vehicles while speeding. Even on that day, my mum warned me not to drive and, on that same day, returning to Accra in the evening, our tyre burst because of a big pot whole on the road. There are no street lights. This year, as soon as I get to Ghana, no overspending or overtaking.
Driving in Ghana is already by the grace of God. We need to understand the purpose of the car is to get you from point A to point B alive, stay vigilant and attentive on the road. Cars don't have to turn into expensive coffins.
The first aid issue is very true, Cpr and basic things to save lives must be added to the routine topics we learn in school. Because it is very serious that majority do not know how to do cpr and these basic things

I think this is advice to me because the way I speed a lot, I need to stop. In 🇬🇧 I respect the speed limit, but as soon as I am in Ghana, p3, I drive differently. God help me oo 🙏

The main thing is driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs!!!!! There are no measures in Ghana which prevents people from driving when driving, that’s a serious crime
When young people get money small especially boys then first thing is a car then they have ladies, they automatically turn to Baby driver, transporter or Vi Diesel Fast💯
The first aid should be added to our education curriculum and not the bond of 1844 and the others. They don’t give us anything in life. Even some of us don’t know some simple rights we have as Ghanaians
oh sheldon could you talk about the accident that happened also on that road, a trotro was burning and the driver run and left the passengers ..one lady who wanted to save a little girl in the car got injured and currently at the ridge hsopital in need of help..could you please find out how she is doing

This has lessons for all; if you're in a vehicle that is being driven recklessly, speak up! You're also responsible for your safety, not just the driver. The goal of driving is to get to your destination safely, not quickly!
See, in Ghana, driving is now considered an art and not a skill. Driving came so that we get from point A to B but now it's rather "watch me get from point A to B" hence the nonsense. And the driving while texting...
A lot of drivers do not this about the 37 stretch. Steering is somehow difficult on that. i don't know if there's some kind of gravitational force on the stretch because your steer decides to always go the opposite direction. Be careful guys
What happened to common sense,critical thinking, an elderly man advised me wayback in life that a car has no respect of its builder. And most of the young drivers have no much experience stupidity!!!!!!

Bro. I witnessed one my self. I went to visit my parents at Kaneshie a month ago. Looked like I was watching Fast and Furious Ghana. Since we were from Kaneshie, we used the Achimota route to get unto the Lapaz-Tema road. Just a few meters to the first overpass from the climb (from Tesano) two cars were racing; red and black. The red, car just maneuvered through a just gassed away and since they were racing, the other tried to do same, unfortunately it hit a car on the back, and it summersaulted a couple of times to the side of the road. I literally watched a kid come out of the car, probably in his early teens. He’s the only one I saw as at the time it happened. Since a lot of people went to help them get out, my troski driver just continued the journey. I marveled cos it was like a movie cos Eeeeiihh. It just kept me thinking, cos a husband, a brother, a friend, informed others he was going to work, probably pick up his kids after school only to die on their way home. This was just sad, I couldn’t sleep the whole night. Really scary. 😔

I went to Accra district command where the case was handled but unfortunately none of the family left their contact behind so there's no way of contacting them
even ppl who respond to accident scene usually pronounce the victims even dead before attempting to rescue them. I have witnessed an accident scene in tadi where a girl was pronounced dead and covered with plantain leaves,she was later found alive if not for some woman. We need to stop this
The speed that car was going with, no streetlight would have helped. They would not have been able to react in time. The person who was driving was very inexperienced because everyone knows that the road under an overhead is not straight. Moreover, there's an exit from Cantonment to that same road, he could have easily hit somebody coming out of the estates. Racing? At 11 pm? Charley.

Ghana asem o there is no rules and regulations on ghana highways the traffic lights no dey work I do agreee with Kwedwu sheldon if you are a driver you need to becareful of everyone and have patience when driving even with me in uk that I have done my driving theory with a driving instructor I have patience for others whom are speeding or going to overtake me my driving Instructor said you need to not only care for yourself on the road but for others!.
