Every year in June there is a Model Railway Exhibition held in 2 pavilions at the Claremont Showgrounds, Perth. it is the largest in Western Australia with many model railways being shown, along with many other popular related displays, with quite a few of Perth's retailers also there. That is until 2020 when the pandemic changed everything. The show was cancelled in 2020, 2021, and 2022 due the the huge expense of organizing and promoting it with a threat of possible closure, and so the decision was made as with many other entertainments not to take the risk.
However, as an alternative it was decided that some of the clubs would hold smaller shows during 2021/22, this video of the Heritage and Model Rail Show held on the 5th June 2022 is one of these. On display were many different gauges on many varied layouts, and including the real thing in the stunning WAGR 'S' Class No.549 in steam.
Other layouts were present including N gauge, and an HO gauge Diorama which have been shown in other of my videos.
