Always nice to have our mate Chris back with a new shave. First time i see that soap and seems good at least produces very good lather. Now the razor i don't know, i mean it's well made but i've got to use it first cause Pearl razors differ a lot one to another. I ordered one myself and it will arrive next thursday. I was thinking of purchasing the Flexi several years ago but went with the Rex Ambassador instead. I wanted the cool factor. I understand they are very much the same except the price. The Rex being stainless steel. You did well to get the Flexi. The Rex is nice but not $250 nice. For me anything above a setting 3 is tear your face off. Great shave Chris. Peace be with you.

Really Good shave worked well for you.not tried pearl Flexi but have the pearl flexi open comb and it bites but a like that normally setting 4 first 2 passes then setting 2 for final 3rd pass that’s what works for me.Camera absolutely fine also no issues there.have a super day all the best to you 🙂

For me, residual slickness is a must. My favorite vegan shaving creams are TOBS. Excellent lather and residual slickness. Also, it's hard to beat PAA CK-6 vegan hard soaps.

Good shave Cris. When i have longer periods without shaving, like a week or so, i still lather up my stubbles/beard every other day, without doing the shave, just to have my face/skin being used to be scrubbed.

I bowl lather using distilled water and it makes an incredible lather even though my tap water is incredibly soft.

Mate! HC&C make what I believe to be THE best none tallow soap. They are so bloody good that I didn't know or question the tallowlessness of it. Up there for best base in my opinion.

I see that you still use the same face lather method that you posted back in 2019. Just wanted to let you know that it has helped me improve my lathers. What caused you to land on this method, mostly trial and error? Please keep up with the great videos!

I am wet shaver fluid. I transition between bowl lathering and face lathering. Things I don't identify as is a cart shaver or electric razor shaver. 😊

I remember the water in WA smelling pretty strongly of dirt and sand.

Cris, have you thought of getting a continuous mister and filling it with distilled water? I get great lathers that way.

Some viewers may be slow to think this through; but the lather spent 5 minutes or more on your face while you were building with more water for a wet lather. Lather for time and water concentration can make for an improved shave.

I felt the same way about vegan bases until I tried Barrister and Mann's new one with their "Roam II" release. It might surprise you!
