Lots of drivers got in there. Peter worked for crows at the time. Also for Sean Hannah transport then Davy errington when he got a second wagon. I was born on salt meadows 9 coulthards lane.
@@darrencollins5091 Remember Davy, could be wrong here but didn’t he have one of the warehouses down on the quayside up by Spillers? Also had the Central pub just before the Tyne bridge iirc. Going back many many years now so could be well wrong?
@@RadgieMonkey that’s him mate was just along from the ship (now the Tyne bar) he also had that for couple years was all mid eighties. I do recognise your dad but couldn’t put a name to him. What year did he pass? I remember a bob brown worked for Tommy herdman at Swalwell used to run steal out of monkhouse and brown at dunston/teams.
@@darrencollins5091 Aye, that’s him worked for Tommy when his yard/house down that little lane right next to Tulips yard. Must be 20 years ago now when he passed.
