The Duck Camp Dinners crew is back in the bayous as Jean-Paul wraps up his last hunt of the season before the birth of his son. Jean-Paul shares a duck recipe handed down by his father, the crew forages for wild mushrooms, gets into swarms of blue wing teal, and closes out the season in celebration.

I just about drool when I see you folks cooking. Today I went to our deer camp to check cameras and the condition of the hut. All good. It's been too wet to get in this winter and it looks like it's been a late rut. Our duck season in southern Australia starts in March, and with the crazy rain this winter the ducks will be thick. Goat curry for dinner tonight. Hunt, eat, repeat.

Great show as usual. I am sure you killed a few guys by cooking with Pappy 20 year. LOl unless you are just reusing the bottle with a different bourbon. What gun are you using there with that silver receiver? And you all are welcome up here in Michigan anytime. Our season opens this Saturday and both of our boys will be joining my wife and I in the blind. Congrats on the birth of your son.

I have enjoyed this program more than any other hook and bullet show anywhere. Great insight into a culture. I just returned from Lake Charles area did some shrimping and alligator hunting. Had crackling! Ate food with many locals, wow. Keep up the inspiration.
