There are some illogical fallacies in the plot's continuation throughout the vid. I'm afraid I had no time to correct them due to my insanely tight schedule with the military service. I'll try fixing them in the Part 2 (Course Correction) or the prequel which will show how Herlock traveled to the future.
It may be true that there are some problems, but this being Sholmes' deduction can make up for the mistakes. Don't worry, if we were to put pressure on you we wouldn't be able to get the same quality of content, after all. Also gl with the military, I think it's pretty clear now that it's making you work hard
I'm not exaggerating when I say I spent the whole Dance of Deduction secution MOUTH OPEN. The technical effort that must have taken alone is already fascinating, but also how well you made Sholmes fit in while mainting his "just off the mark" writing. Take as much time as you need for the next part!
I'll try that, though I don't want to take more than 2 weeks for the continuation. Thanks for your support 😁😁 EDIT: Turns out it'll take way more than two weeks, damn. I hope I'll be able to work on it by November. Sorry 😅
Unbelievable! The way you continue to push your craft in creative and ever more difficult ways is admirable. Such a great job here - the classic Herlock Sholmes always "missing the point" dialogue, the pseudo-fourth wall breaks of how he randomly is in the possession of items when he presents them during the Dance, and RIDICULOUS sound effects of animals...! So perfect.
During this particular vid Herlock already knows Phoenix and the whole gang. Since I want him to invade every AA game so far, I'll have him meet Wright in one of the prequel vids, probably the PW:AA one. For now even I'm completely unsure about what's to come xD
@@CorvusTheII i imagine he will be like "where is the missing bullet then?" and von karma will do his cornered pose where he holds his arm, and then sholmes will call it out but say it's his glove that's important and not the arm pain from the bullet
Sholmes is always such a joy to watch and seeing him interact with the main series cast is such a fun and interesting concept. I had a lot of fun watching this and hope to see more of Sholmes deductions for the main series cases in the future.
Love it. Yet again, the characters sound exactly like they do in-game, so it's like we really are getting a glimpse of what it would be like if Sholmes were dropped into SoJ. I like getting Dhurke involved too, he and Sholmes play off each other well.
This was so amazing! I love how weird his logic is, and it matches the game's energy. And the effort of ripping this must be immensive. I would love to see the course creation would turn out if you have time. Again, stay safe ❤️
Yeah making the dance in Shotcut was an absolute pain tbh 😂 And I'll have to get very creative with how I'll use 3d Apollo's sprites to make it seem like he's also pirouetting with Sholmes during the Course Creation 😅 Thank you for your wishes mate 🙏
Yeah the major problem is about the textbox. I couldn't find any good "green" screen color that wouldn't ruin the textbox's hue (green screens made it green), so I had to go with black background screen. But unfortunately removing the chroma that way bugs the text letters too. I'm yet to find a fix to that :(
I just came a crazy idea so if Herlock is on SOJ timeline what could happen if Ema was in TGAA timeline imagine every court seein Ema's scientific work as a WitchCraft that would be funny XD
This video looks more like an actual Ace Attorney game (a bit, actually), than an Objection Maker video You really did work on this! Well done, executively!
After finishing GAA a few weeks ago, this was such a nice idea putting Dance of Deduction into SoJ. Your creativity and writing is impressive. Also, best of luck fighting the wildfires in Greece!
This was expertly done! It's amazing that this video was brought by recommendations and I couldn't be more happy to have seen this. The amount of effort you put into it as astounding since the way the characters interact which each other is as perfect as I could imagine... I can't wait to see it's continuation :3 (Actually, I can wait, take your time to do it at your own pace ^.^)
awesome start mate can't wait for part two Dance of Deduction is my favorite in the ace attorney series i never laugh this hard in my life in a long time
Great video as always I have an idea about next vid(after this dance) Since this take place in Soj Can you make a battle against garan dhurke( i mean the trial of assasination of amara) this would very cool to see
I'll probably do it, even though there's the big problem of Dhurke having 2 eyes during his trial against Ga'ran. So I don't know how his older sprites would work :( Other than that I so badly want to do that trial ngl
Can't believe it took that many months but someone noticed it xD (it was a nod to Apollo saying LOOK EVERYONEafter Amara's burn mark on her chest got exposed lmao)
Finally, it's here. I never thought it would be possible but *OBJECTION* !!! You proved me dead wrong. And don't worry about the fallacies. There's a saying that is important to me: Don't complain or criticize about the small thing. What is important is to be grateful of what you haveinstead of picking on the little things for petty reason, especially what it is already available and already been made. Because despite how the product goes, it's better to have it than don't have it in the first place. About the video: I will wait till the end of August if you need to take more time for Part 2.
Oh my edit. That's cleaner than I expected, for a fan made. 😮 If the course correction is done by Apollo, I'm actually intrigued in how you would make him 'dance'. Nice vid!
Love the animation, but the only problem is that I don't think Sholmes would need much of a course correction in this case. He doesn't really need to train Apollo in the art of deduction, so he has no real need to hold back by making outlandish and wrong deductions like with Ryonusuke. Sholmes would have probably deduced most of the truth like with his tag-team deduction with Mikatoba.
Don't forget that Sholmes doesn't make wrong deductions only to train his fellows. From his "no more games, Mikotoba" it's clear that he had fun doing it and expects his partner to find the truth as a game (hence the game is afoot). It goes beyond training imho
OBJECTION! This guy is speaking Japanese when you hear his voice. Herlock Sholmes is the English version, named that way for the localization..Therefor, this is not "Herlock", but "Sherlock"!
Sorry i cant accept the fact that of all the things, Holmes in Khurain has to be the strangest case of a (what if) for me as this dude be dead years ago. I havent watched the full video yet but i deadass like to think of a headcanon for why this dude is in the modern times. Unless youre gonna tell me, thats maya who channeled him. XD Edit: Halfway through the video. And...wow...I wasn't expecting you'd actually incorporate one of great ace attorney's key mechanics that set them apart. Heh
It's gonna be either that, or he fell in cryosleep, or Iris sent him to the future We'll see in another Sholmes vid what it will be out of all those possibilities :p
@@debastiansebeste Oh right. I forgot Iris von zieks(not sorry for those who haven't played great ace attorney 2) is hecka smart, being so good that she made the first way of forensics heh.
This was amazing! Very excited for the next instalments. As an aside, related to SoJ but unrelated to Sholmes, I'd love to see your take on Phoenix getting Sarge to open up and leave their room.
@@ospreytalon8318 it's fine, this is a spirit of justice video, if they're watching it they've already been spoiled about a bunch of worse stuff (like queen Amara and Ga'ran), Armie's the least of their concerns xD
I've been thinking about whether to make it that way (have Herlock be a present character) or have Herlock time travel to the future. Which one would be the more suitable version here, I'm wondering
@@cheukyinglau8011 yeah I'm also inclined towards that direction. That case does ruin the "you're the descendant of my investigation partner Ryunosuke" revelation, but it makes more sense than suddenly implementing time travel in the story, which causes lots of plot holes
@@debastiansebesteWhat if none of these and he's actually a descendant of the original Sholmes which happens to have the same name and look the same? I think it goes pretty well with the trope of the ancestors in the Chronicles games.
This dance of Deduction is not possible to recreate in objection lol. The entirety of the dance is made in a program called Shotcut. The only part of it made in objection lol is the textbox
I'll have Sholmes appear in every AA game (it's a very daring aim ngl but I'll try it). In my headcanon for this vid they've already worked together in the previous games (against Luke Atmey e.g.). I was just too impatient and decided to start with queen Amara's trial because I wanted to pit Herlock against her xD
Thank you! I absolutely fell in love with TGAA and the fresh content and mechanisms it brought to the franchise, I just needed to mess around with them xD
I usually pick the voice lines I personally prefer. In this case I preferred Herlock/Nahyuta/Rayfa/Ga'ran's Japanese versions but Apollo's english version :p
Ngl, given that it is the hardest video I ever made (that 3-minute dance of Deduction scene took me nearly 2 weeks to make, lol), I also wish it wasn't that underviewed 😅 Glad you like it anyway mate 🤜🤛
@@debastiansebestehey man that is one of a few things I hate the most about life like some BS content without any hard work with millions of views and art like this with not so much, straight up BS... but hey, that's always people that really appreciate hard work and I'm one of them so keep up my dude! And never give up!
This is great! One of the most high quality works I've seen yet! Watching this video has made me have an idea, you don't seem to have any way of contact though so I'll put it here.. what if TGAA characters time travel to the period of PW:AA?
You should check my Q&A, I have discord and my username is crusader7 if you wanna chat ;) As for the time travel, it is going to be like this but right now only for Herlock. And I haven't decided yet on whether it will be time travel or just an AU where Herlock exists in Phoenix Wright's time
