I am an ex-chiefs fan if that makes any sense. I used to live in KC, but have since moved to Tampa, so go figure, however herm is the problem there, and that defense without allen is simply aweful. you make a great point about herm, but don't forget Carl Peterson, who also needed to go, thank god that he did, and some new coordinators need to be hired along with a new coach.
2-10 baby!!! WOO lol. They are horrible this year, I admit it, but another good draft coming up, tyler thigpen growing up and becoming one of the greatest qb's in the league right now next year or the year after that will be better. But we need to fire Herm and Carl.
No! If you remember Dick Vermeil TRASHED our team with OLD RETIRIRING players and he didnt develop nobody. Herm has done a great job. He is a rebuilding coach and we have owned the draft the last 2 years partially thanks to him. Dont blame herm FOR ANYTHING. BLAME DICK VERMEIL!
You really can't evaluate a draft until at the very, very least 3 years later. When Dick was coaching we were competitive in just about every game. Dick understands play calling. Herm is one of the most unimaginative and over rated coaches out there. I hope and pray that someday Dick Vermeil will come back. That or at the very least we could've done what we should've done after Dick retired and that's make Al Saunders the head coach.
people what facts you need to know is it's not herms falt or the team blame it on carl thank god he's outta of here first off carl dose not want to spend money to get some player chiefs only have little biddie problems all we need is a offensive of line deffence and another 6'2 or 6'3 reciever then that playoff or maybe a super bowl

Vermeil was 10-6 with VERMEILS TEAM! You are wrong completely on Herm. You notice Herm ACED the draft this year? We did the best in the draft and got an A from all the sports analyst. Vermeil was HORRIBLE at drafting even sports analysts would agree. LJ and jarred allen was it otherwise he gave us sucky players to develop. You notice Herm made our defense WAY better than Vermeils defense? Oh and we will be better than last year.
We our too predictable and to me Larry Johnson is overrated. They need to get the ball to Jamal Charles. He can hit the holes quicker and can take it to the house.
Herm is the NFL's definition of a stiff. He took over Parcells's Jets and drove them into the ground before he abandoned ship and is doing the same thing with Vermeil's team and will probably end up abandoning the Chiefs the same way if he doesn't get thrown out on his ass first. This guy's such a clown. Herm needs to cut the crap with the motivational speeches and pep talks and start learning how to be a football coach.
