They have Herman miller's at my uni and they are definitely worth the hype. I can sit on them for hours at a time and not feel it. Definitely gonna buy one once I get money
@@Perceptence and? They aren't gonna check security cams if they ever notice a chair gone. Many ways to take a chair. Hi vis vest and put some tape on a part of it so it looks broken 😉
I have a Aeron and bought it used for $400 instead of $1300 new. There is allot of herman miller resellers that get their chairs in bulk from officers or what ever and sell them. Check it out
Herman Miller is one of the few brands where the chairs are worth every dollar. Genuinely stellar. Back when I was working as an intern, I was using one at the office and that chair was damn comfortable.
Herman millers are mostly designed purely on ergonomics. Their chairs usually don’t have headrests as they claim it’s not really ergonomic to have as their chairs features make our body mimic the way our spine forms when we’re standing which is supposedly the best position for the spine. Headrests are just good for when reclining
@boom Yeah, crazy design and RGB are enough I suppose. Typically, unless you want the gamer aesthetic, you can find better products for gaming without the "gamer" tag, such as chairs, headphones, keyboards, microphones etc
@@Mr.Marbles Exactly. I'm not so into gaming but I'm huge into audio, especially headphones. There is an entire world of incredible headphones out there, most people have never seen them before. I always say you don't know good audio until you try something like good professional studio headphones. People don't consider it because it's not wireless, has no RGB, has no mic as standard, doesn't say "gamer" etc. Even something like Beyerdynamic DT-770 with a standalone mic will outperform any "gaming" headset that's twice the price.
@@Sam-zz7gs yup. Got the dt990 which have an even wider soundstage and pretty loud highs. That means i can locate people with pinpoint accuracy in games like csgo or rainbow six siege.
@@HebrewHammer1337I've tried around 30 office chairs over the years. Would always struggle with some upper back pain or discomfort with the chairs. Embody is the only chair I've ever owned that I feel like I'm floating when I sit on it. I did a small modification to be perfect for me and that's it. It's amazing if you want to sag at times too. Posture is important, but when sitting for long hours, being able to switch it up is important too. Put a cover on it, take good care of it, has a 12 year warranty, easy to replace/add seat foam if necessary and this chair is gonna last me the rest of my life lol.
You’re right and I completely agree, but damn $800 is still a good amount. I get it but it should be around the $400s. Just my opinion, still a really cool chair and I would get this over those other $1000 dollar ugly ass racing gamer chairs out there lol
@@iKoroSenaii $800 is perfectly fine for Herman Miller, people would still pay upwards of $2k+ for the high end models. Why? Because they last a long time and you can sit on them for long periods of time without feeling any pain or strain. I personally would not buy them, but I see the value.
I assume you're talking from a position of a cheap office chair because something doesn't make me think you're referring to Steelcase Leap V2 this chair seem similar to... It's a world of difference, especially if you aren't "standard dimensions" human. Unfortunately it's not something one can begin to appreciate unless they've experienced it. Judging how many people think that stereotypical "gaming chair" is comfortable paints really dire picture.
Weird coincidence, I work in commercial office furniture. I’m seeing people say this chair is $800. For a Herman Miller chair (which is on the higher end of commercial office furniture.) it’s definitely worth that price. Base price for a good quality office chair ranges from $700-$1200. Anything lower priced than that will be very hit or miss. (Unless you can buy one used.) Herman Miller are in my top 3 companies for quality office chairs! So it’s nice to see they have one specifically for gaming.
Functionality and overall design looks a lot like Steelcase Leap V2 and it's 2/3 of the price. Personally I don't find Aeron comfortable at all but that's maybe because I'm short (I did try both A and B which are small and medium variants tho)
You can't even buy these and have them delivered. You have to go to a dealer that sells them. Herman Miller's really are the sports cars of PC chairs. Man I'd kill to have one though.
@@melancholyentertainment I mean I still use one cause I like to just lean back, but I think the headrest definitely should’ve come with chair even if it’s originally detached.
At first i thought it was ridiculous, i still kind of do, but apparently they are pretty good and i honestly need a better chair for gremlin style of sitting
I’m still waiting for Herman Miller to get back to me on a chair but don’t think they will though however they are a very great company from what I know especially when it comes to the mechanics involved with Lumbar support.
Herman Miller and similar grade office chairs are expensive because of the 13 year warranty and after sales support, they don't have some magic formula that makes them worth $1000+
I have seen that you have some figures in your room, i think you called them calls figures. Anyways i tough that they looked realy cool but cant find them, where can i find them?
Payed around 500 for one, returned it immediately. They're not comfortable, but apparently they're good for posture. Guess my posture is ruined beyond repair😅
What makes it really fancy is all the adjustments and proper ergonomic back support. It may look like regular office chair with some color added to it but trust me when I tell you there's so much more to it... there's a reason why corpos buy Steelcase and Herman Miller chairs in bulk for their offices, at $1000+ per chair...
By the way, every time I look at gaming chairs on my dad‘s phone and don’t judge me that I’m on my dad‘s phone but the reason why I go on RU-vid and look up gaming chairs is because I’m getting one but every time I look it up on my dad‘s phone I see other gaming chairs that cost and two Herman Millergaming chairs cost like $1000 that’s why I’m getting that racer gaming chair for $99 and that gaming chair has a back massager
