Man the journalist guy who keeps tabs on the far right in germany sure has balls. I'm very suprised they didn't mention the second castle that goering grew up in and became the owner of in Austria. Can't remember its name.

After Manfred von Richthofen died (AKA The Red Baron) Herman Goering was voted in as the new squadron leader he was literally chosen by popular vote to lead the most decorated fly wing of world war 1 after Germany surrendered he refused to surrender his plane and almost lead a suicide charge to be a Martyr he was that charismatic and respected

They stole symbols from everyone the swastika they stole and rotated slightly the death's head symbol were originally Hessian calvary it meant loyalty till death the SS symbol is the Nordic rune for victory (technically though SS would translate to victory victory but I digress)
