These ages explain a lot of the chemistry between players - Scar, Grian, Mumbo, Joel, Gem, Pearl all being around the same late 20s early 30s age bracket makes SOOO much sense

Honestly the maturity of the majority of the server is what I appreciate so much about Hermitcraft. And what I mean specifically is how the relationships on the servers are kept healthy and the members behave respectfully and responsibly towards each other. They’re all adults, and they act like adults. And they keep it purely about the game, and leave everything else that’s unrelated and even arguably inappropriate out of it. Minecraft content is saturated by creators who are still like children themselves, and kids being idols and role models to other kids is not a great idea broadly speaking. Basically, once I found Hermitcraft and seen a lot of it, I fell in love with the positivity and peacefulness of it. It’s truly a safe haven from the craziness and immaturity of the majority of gaming content on RU-vid.

I think what most people forget is that the majority of them have been doing this for 15 years now. Not much of a surprise that they're as old as the video suggests. I've been watching them for 10 years now.

Excuse me. Doc revealed in 2017 that he was born in 77 making him 1,946 years old

Scar was diagnosed with this illment around 17 and received Jelly. Jelly stayed by his sice for 17.5 years. This would make Scar 34~35.

I've heard that Tango is between 1 and 100 years old. Cannot confirm though.

Gem now being 27 is a prime example of how scary it is that we are all getting old. Gem said in a HCS9 stream to Tango, "I'm so old - I'm almost 30! I'm practically dead!" Even though Gem is still young compared to the other hermits, it's a bit sad that times are passing. Gem being in her 30s simply cannot compute in my mind. Similarly, the following also apply: Xisuma being 40, Iskall being 40, and Doc being 50. All of this has really put into perspective for me how old I am getting and how quickly times are passing, and I'm reminded and happy to savor every moment.

When Mumbo turned 19, Tango said that he was at least twice his age. That was about eight or nine years ago, so I would estimate Tango's age to be around 46-47.

The great thing about Hermitcraft is that a lot of its members are just someone's very cool parent

Pearl is younger than Gem. They were both born in 1996. Gem was born first in May. Pearl was the last hermit to be born in June. Tango is either the same age or older than Impulse.

this is one of the reason i love hermitcraft, it just a show of a bunch of people in their 30 doing goofy stuff.

In a Phasmo-Stream Impulse made fun of Skizz for being old. Even though they're close to each other they were born in different generations (Gen X and Gen Y I think). Seeing that they're only two years apart makes this even funnier

I mean based on the fact that on the Imp and Skizz podcast Xisuma said that he had never confirmed his age. I’m doubting the facts on a lot of these. Especially the other ones without faces (Cleo and Etho). We can take guesses like you did with Scar and your guesses probably aren’t super far off. But definitely not accurately

I now feel better. I was playing role-playing games when I was their ages, (actually, I was in my 20's.) I never stopped till I had my son and I would probably still be playing but I'm an hour away from those I played with.

From what i've heard, tango is about as old as impulse, perhaps a bit younger. In the imp and skizz podcast it was mentioned they were close in age.

I would assume tango is in his 40s considering that he is good irl friends with Impulse and Skizz.

Well, I am in my 50s and playing the game here. I definitely can say maturity adds so much to the Minecraft experience. The community you build up is as important, if not more important, than the gameplay itself, and most definitely enhances it.

Gem is only 4 years older than me? Wow. Pretty cool to be honest though, shows that even some youngsters like me can make it on RU-vid. I imagine she was watching other Hermits years ago in school/college like I was. I got into Hermitcraft thanks to Beef, Etho, Doc and Bdubs, since they were originally from Mindcrack, which I watched a lot.

TFC was the oldest ever. At 63 he died while also having a plethora of health issues. Leaving the server at season 9. R.I.P old man you were so cool.

To all who think Scar is 41 because Google says he is. We know Scars is roughly 33-36 because he got Jellie when he was 16-17. (She was a gift when he got sick.) Jellie was 17.5 years old when she passed. 16+17=33, 17+17=34 16+18=35 17+18=36.
