The thought of X wandering around for who knows how long wondering why they’re mining for netherite 80 blocks above the spawn range is hilarious. Grian just appearing and then everything instantly going wrong is just the cherry on top.

I love the moment Xisuma realizes Mumbo is not entirely crazy, you can almost feel an immense sense of relief in his voice.

I hope that was worth it :-D So much fun Mumbo!

I am shocked that it took Mumbo a full 11 episodes to even mention the crafter considering how it basically consumed his life a few months ago.

Im just gonna say I've seen Xisuma's perspective, and this is a much funnier way to end the Episode. With no context whatsoever, Grian is given a "Hit the Button" opportunity, takes it, and ends up blowing both himself a Xisuma up, with no opportunity to elaborate or explain his train of thought. Well done, Mumbo 😂

Holy shit, that last bit is perhaps the funniest thing that happened this season, "Grian, have faith in us."

This latest season of mumbo just enjoying the game is the best. He’s still making crazy redstone contraptions, but the flavor in each episode now is incredible. I can’t wait to see more!

The shop idea has genuinely been such a fun thing to watch people have to harvest and sell resources they don’t even like or need lol

2012 diamond hoe- waste of diamonds, useless 2024 netherite hoe - the best, most usefull and diverse tool. Worth the grind to get.

Honestly while the "have faith in us-" *immediate explosion and thus instant death* bit is really funny, I think what really sells it for me is Xisuma's wail of pure anguish after it happens

A way to get item frames renewably/reliably: if you get a cartographer to expert, they're guaranteed to trade an item frame for up to 7 emeralds, so until you get a farm up you can just use the cartographer(s)

Mumbo! Use a hoe on the Shroom Trees! Minus the wood (which needs an axe), it breaks everything quickly! The mushroom lights AND the wart blocks! Also leaves!

I know it's probably been said before, but I _love_ the Season 10 aesthetic. The chapter title cards, the musical choices... it's like what if Wes Anderson made Minecraft, but with a distinct Mumbo feel. It also feels classy but much less effortful than some previous seasons' general feel. You've really nailed a distinct look and feel. It's a pleasure to watch. It was always a pleasure to watch - you're literally the first Minecraft channel I ever watched - but now it's a _pleasure_ to watch. If that makes sense.

Hey mumbo just a quick thing but damage explosion damage is calculated from your feet so when there are blocks in-between the bed and your lower half you take minimal damage. The time you died your feet just were in the "shockwave" of the explosion

Wow, super glad to see a collab between X and Mumbo again after such a long time; perfect choice to end the episode with Grian being Grian.

I have an idea for how you can prank Grian and become powerful along the way. Basically, there's this concept in American law called "eminent domain". It's complicated, but basically, the government can force you out of your land or property and use it for their own purposes if it is for public benefit. Because Grian has chosen to make his Permit Office useless, you could form a government, and argue that you can take the Permit Office from him to serve a more beneficial purpose, because in its current state, it isn't helping anyone. You could create some kind of ultimatum. Either Grian makes his Permit Office properly functional, or, you seize the property and he can say goodbye to it, replacing it with something better. Best part is, you get to decide what it means to be better, so you could put a bouncy castle there instead and decide as the leader of the government that that is more valuable to the public. This could all be done in a fun, light-hearted manner.

Can I just say, the... cinematography? Minematography? The in-game camerawork this episode has been brilliant! The way you set up the perspectives for the farm-building segments to look almost like an orthographic drawing and the contrast between the well-lit blocks and the red nether sky, along with the analogous yellow and red, is fantastic!

I love hom majority of the time mumbo jumbo is either in question, questioning, or fighting with his inner monologs as he speak😂

A couple things about blowing up the nether (and stuff in general): -All explosives, including beds, do damage to you based on if they have a line of sight to the *bottom half* of your hit box. If you place literally any block, like netherack, between you and the explosion, you will take no damage, even if the explosion destroys the block between you in the process -Where the bed explodes from isn’t in the middle of the bed, it’s actually in the half of the bed that has the pillow -Technically, but very rarely, netherite *can* spawn in higher up levels, as long as it’s not exposed to air. You did actually have a chance of finding netherite by just removing that area at the top of the nether, it’s just quite rare I hope this helps! I’m looking forward to more of your shenanigans on Hermitcraft!

Its extrmely humanizing seeing the same mumbo who defines redstone doors and mechanics struggling with other things. Gives a "hes me for real" vibe that i love, plus learning with him and his humor is always such a treat.

The bed explosions originate from the "pillow" side of the bed, so usually just put one block between you and the pillow and it'll soak up most of the damage.

I just watched a bunch of Hermit videos in a row and you can tell Mumbo is a cinematographer because the audio is just on another level 👌

For future reference Mumbo, just place a block right in front of your little feetsies between you and the bed. For whatever reason, blast damage is calculated through the toes, which is why your strategy mostly worked up until your toes weren't blocked by standing far enough away from the bed inside the blast zone.
