You wouldn't want danger as your middle name, anyway. "False Danger" doesn't give the right impression at all. "Danger False" might work and it'd go well with your pillarbox but you'd need your own Penfold.

@@simonnading there's an older british cartoon called Danger Mouse about a secret agent mouse who lives in a postbox with a hamster assistant named Penfold! it's pretty episodic and follows the pair on whatever adventures they get up to. I think there was a more recent remake but I haven't seen that

You still had this episode lined up prior to the stream weekend?! Wow! Must have felt so good to have this done before you left for the US. Looking forward to the next episode! Also, I watched you in Gem's episode the other day where she got a tour and it was wonderful! She showcased your expansive base well. Your parting line of "Thank you for the existential crisis" was hilarious! She didn't just tour your base (though you got top billing/longest segment) but xB's, Beef's, and Cleo's as well and she even specifically asked her viewers to make sure to check you all out at the end of her episode which I thought was very very cool and very Hermitcrafty of her. Someone else mentioned in the comments to replace the hopper with a hopper minecart so it grabs the ink from further away which would be a good shout. If you're having trouble with black dyes in bulk, you could enter into a business contract with Keralis for access to his wither rose farm? The poor man is so poor. He entered into a business contract with Pearl who needs dyes/flowers and she hasn't made ANY diamonds so he's a pretty good mark, I'd say. xD

If you don't want to have the allay flying all around time, you can make a holding pen that uses a sculk sensor calibrated to mob deaths to open a gate and let them fly out to pick up the items.

False: i cant tell the future False: ...THANKFULLY. Also! Item sorters are perfect for that particular problem for your disorganized concrete colors. I'm not anywhere near a redstoner myself but Impulse has a really good item sorter that I could follow relatively easily. The hardest part is gathering enough materials for the sorter bit, and you already have enough. I love all the gradients you're doing this season!

An item sorter would be good, but then couple the output to a shulker loader. That way she'll end up with a full shulker of one color without any extra work.

hi from a new (ish) viewer! i used to hang around technical minecraft communities, a lot of them use the mod Tweakeroo or something similar to place all the blocks in faster! you can also set you place block button to a key temporarily and hold it down with a weight, which looks cursed but works! that should allow you to speed the clock up again and get more concrete through

False, that is a really impressive splodificator. Great job! Sorting system upgrade would be a great addition. You could even pack it up into shulkers sorted by color if you wanted. You can 100% DIY, but I think a few of your neighbors would love an opportunity to work with you on that too if you wanted some input. Great job this past weekend as well. You all put on quite the show!

You could use a hopper minecart beneath the note block and it will pull the ink sacs right through the full block (hopper minecarts are 'special' that way. You could still use normal hoppers covered in moss/carpet around the noteblock to catch any stray throws. It saves the Allay throwing stuff on the noteblock (like intended) but the item staying there until they pick it up again and throw it within pickup distance of the hopper. 🖤

Not intuitively guessing the way TNT duping works is pretty understandable, given that it's not even supposed to be possible, and is an obscure bug. It was discovered by someone in the tech minecraft community (I'm sure Doc would know who) and then I believe kept under wraps for a bit so it would not be patched. Basically it uses the order minecraft updates blocks. That's why you always have a random coral fan in them. Dead coral fans can be pushed by a piston IF they can be supported in the new block. This means they get updated in a funny place in the order. Placing a minecart on a detector rail sends its redstone signal, because it updates as a result of you placing it. BUT, if you move that detector rail with a minecart by pushing it with a piston, the block update from the detector rail does not happen until a different part of the update order. This is what lets the duping work. You can never put the detector rail in place yourself, it has to be pushed in by a piston. The general rule for TNT dupers is 'put the rail in last by pushing it with a piston'. That is the bit that stops you blowing up. Usually.

Here’s an idea: Replace the spider web with iron bars or fences Make the piston a double piston, then add a dispenser to dispense an armor stand onto the piston and another dispenser to splash the stand with slow falling. So, you would basically want the bottom piston to always be on until it needs to dispense a new armor stand, then it would turn off, dispense a stand and splash potion at the same time, turn back on, then the top piston would turn on to launch the stand into the air. Moreover, if it’s possible without breaking the signs, underneath the court could be hopper minecarts, so the if the armor stand breaks, it ends up back in the dispenser on its own

An auto clicker my let you place concrete powder quick enough to use the farm more efficiently. Also, love the promenade around your base. Would be cool to see that getting used a lot for checking out the surrounding areas.

I'm also fairly sure a good alternative is simply rebinding 'place block' to a keyboard key. If I remember right that just places much faster when being held down. Annoying to switch back and forth, but might be worth for bigger jobs.

The hermit's are all becoming more well rounded, we are lacking in pvp but beans and gem are developing it to be honest there is nothing as satisfying as watching mumbo tango impulse docm xisuma etho and cub doing redstone and technical things that's why I watch them, it's important to be balanced but also focus on their strengths I love

I built the farm in 1.20 and it worked perfectly. Holding right click with the mouse is too slow for the zero tick pistons, you need to change the keybind to one of the keys on your keyboard. This will place the blocks fast enough so you don’t need the repeaters to slow it down

Great work on the concrete converter, even just you troubleshooting with repeaters is too far above my paygrade so I'm impressed! I have a suggestion about your Jellyfish shop: it's funny because every person who sells concrete/powder deals with this every single season until they give in hahaha Maybe you could use Ren's PAY IN THE GD BARREL payment system that -never- works instead of paying in every single chest? Because right now you have to check not only 16 but 32 chests every single time lol You could have one barrel for powder payment and a second for concrete payment so you can see what sells more? Even if you don't know what colour is selling beyond seeing what barrels you need to fill. Or, for even more convenience (for the customer) you could have one barrell in the floor per 3 sides of your shop to pay into. (Make sure to rename the barrells the price of the concrete.) If you ever end up charging less for powder, you could have a second barrell in the floor on each side as well. 17:21 On those three hanging signs at the front you could have them say "PAY" "IN THE" "BARREL(S)" with (glow ink, of course - I watched Grian's episode yesterday where he was talking about how he couldn't read signs anymore (not in a joking sense though "hermits don't/can't read" will always be an ongoing thing lol) unless they had glow ink and said he needed to get his eyes checked. As a viewer, glow ink is a necessity for every sign though I know it's easier to see in game.

So if a hermit knows they’re going to be using a ton of one or few colours they can ask you directly for it first instead of depleting your shop stock?

If you want the concerete to end up in the chests more organised just build a sorting system. It's not that complicated or you can just ask one of the redstoners ans they'll build you one in like five minutes. Another thing you can do, although I'm not sure it'll fit in your store, is a shulker box unloader. So you can only put the shulker boxes in the onloader and it'll do all the work for you 😁

thanks for the comment - for future reference, the youtuber will always see more comments than are actually published - so keep that in mind when we reference more negative feedback. It's something you shouldn't ever really see 😉 but you are correct, most viewers are very respectful which I appreciate - but in any community there will always be those few that didn't get that memo! 😂
