There’s massive amounts of inflation in Hermitcraft because the hermits keep mining more and more diamonds and putting more currency into the market, which makes the value of each diamond decrease. The later in the season, the more items are going to cost.
What about an advertisement shop, were people pay you to to advertise their things, you could have like a billboard or something, that would be really cool!

Grian you should do afk session service like they will pay you like 5 diamonds per hour of you afk in their farm! you would be rich if you did that! Edit: you could change the time and price if you want too!

Compare Mumbo's "takeoff" and Grian's takeoff. Now compare Mumbo's landing with Grian's "landing". See what I mean? -and yes I know it's because of lag-
If you watch mumbo's video, it shows grian getting the beaconator achievement in the bottom right corner, however when you compare both of their taking off ability at the time, grian was much smoother than mumbo. I guess it could be just because of how big mumbo's base is, but then again that didn't cause a problem in season 5.

It’s been 4 years but Doc should have sold one time use tickets for 1 or 2 diamonds, hermits might be willing to spend that, and might even be tempted to buy a season ticket.
*IDEAS FOR THE BASE:* For the aquarium, make a few chunks of sandstone & sand with coral on it, floating in the aquarium, maybe attached to the glass. That way, the whole space is nicely filled with the colorful coral and plants. In other open spots, put hills and mountains, maybe a fake magma-trench with tons of bubbles. In remaining open spots, kelp it up! Putting some turtles in there would be good too, if you're willing to make beach-bubbles on top of the ring for the turtles to surface (And breed; scute shop idea?). Anyway I think the aquarium idea is genius, I hope these ideas help bring it to life! This idea isn't mine, but I wanted to repost it cuz it's great: Put a telescope on the top of your base (on top of the second layer, probs)! Not only would it add a bunch of height to the build, but you could also frame it as an astronomy-study-thing with the telescope pointing to the sky, a split dome appearing like a telescope cover around it. You could have something to call it (your Astronomy Lab) and it would fit the futuristic theme quite nicely. Anyway hope this helped and hope you try them out! Like so Grian sees it :3
