Don't get me wrong, your builds are great. But, the derping around is my main reason for watching. I love it when you hang out with the other Hermits. Also, I fully agree with the greenhouse idea. You should hold onto ALL of those diamonds from the log shop, btw, as they might be the only ones left. Just replace Ren's half with Royal Emeralds. It's what he did to every other shop on the server.

That’s why it’s important that people actually plays on the server. I like the crazy builds, but those can be done in single play. It’s the interactions between the hermits when the fun begins! Some hermits has been very inconsistent the last seasons and that screws up the flow of the server story, so to say. I hope the address this in the future as they might need to shorten the seasons or something and during the season all the people are there under a specific time frame. I think that the biggest issue thou, is the non announced away time. No uploads and no information on why or when, people are just gone or doing other project without telling the viewers why or when they will be back. That ticks me of and feel very unprofessional and a bit rude to one’s followers. I have unsubscribed from many of those who have a habit of just going away randomly without any information. I can understand it if you have a normal day job, but if this is your day job - then you should handle it like the job it is. Sorry for the rant.

Keralis, honestly, I watch you for the pure derpness with sprinkles of booshes and awesome builds. Never worry about if it's too much derp ♥ I love the derp. Your interactions with the other hermits always feel 100% genuine, zero scripts and just pure giggles with jokes and sillyness. I love it all. ♥ Greenhouses? Yes. I love the idea of having some broken and the overgrown plants sort of thing too.

I’m in my 50’s and I swear I can’t remember the last time I’ve laughed so hard! “Oh oh shrinkage.” You could stand as a statue next to Jellie and Scar and I’d still enjoy it. I think the interaction between Hermits is some of the best content. It shows how you guys work together as a community on a server, instead of only seeing individual progress. All is great content, and I love seeing a good mix, but the interaction is by far my favourite content to watch

Derping around with other hermits is something I could watch a 3 hour RU-vid video on. Sure seeing progress on a base is also fun, but I consider both roughly equally interesting. Maybe even with a bit of a preference for derping around. I would be totally fine if every hermit alternated episodes of base progress or building with episodes of just playing having fun with friends. Or just if a larger proportion of a video was having fun. Some of the best memories in my life are just having fun with friends and experiencing the same thing vicariously through you hermits in your RU-vid videos is almost as good and definitely enjoyable.

derping around and seeing interactions with other hermits is one of my favorite parts of watching any hermits videos - i love seeing the builds and designs and all the stuff that makes your style unique, but i think the thing that sets it apart from being just singleplayer worlds is the interactions, planned or otherwise. :D and honestly, as long as you're having fun doing it (whatever the "it" happens to end up being) i think that's the important part

Some people have probably already said this, but just in case... Although _most_ overworld mobs were changed for the new caves, pillager patrols still spawn in block light levels up to 7, and from 24 to 48 blocks away from the player. So add more light, and/or many many more nonspawnable blocks, but at least you don't have to spawnproof all the way out to despawning distance. And now to watch the rest of the video!

I had to disable pillager patrols in my own server, for the very reason you described. After hours of underground work; several patrols, on every surface, every river, every hole, dozens of patrol groups... I'm just glad I put my village just out of active chunks from my digging area.

"Do you guys like seeing us messing around instead of building" I'll tell you this papa K. From my experience of being on a server based off hermitcraft with my friends - it's fantastic to make builds and have fun to create those stories in your builds. However, the real magic of an SMP is the interactions with your friends. Beautiful builds are amazing to watch but so is just a hermit with his fellow other hermits having fun in hermitcraft. Loved the episode!

The interactions between Hermits are, to me, the whole point of having a cooperative server. The fun with friends is half the fun of watching you all. You can go to a museum for art. You can travel around to appreciate architecture. On Hermitcraft you have it all: art, architecture, and friendly fun. Rens half should be Rens emeralds. He should be happy his currency is being used and you can be happy with your diamons….lol!

You have absolutely nailed the rusty parts of the project. The palette for just the rust is incredible. The crane, as well, looks amazing. You make these things look like they have actually been through weather and aging.
