I'm actually shocked that the whole server rallied up with the ones who started this all just to target and bully another hermit. Everyone recently involved was somehow involved by context. This, on the other hand, was just straight mobbing.

i havent really watched much of docs vids, why does the dragon shift?

@@voltran7677 it moves in a figure 8, but that slowly shifts over time when many people spend time in the chunks close to the flagpole. That is ok while that is mostly just Doc, as he strategically logs out every once in a while to correct for the shift, and move the dragon closer to the flapole again. But when that area is loaded for as long as it took to cover the perimeter, without anyone doing any correction to the dragon position, it will have moved quite far away from the flagpole, and it might take Doc longer to bring it back, than to clear the perimeter

Its technically higher because they terraformed it and it costs extra blocks to change elevation, but its still in the range of 145-151 shulkers. (145 calculated need, 151 collected) And in their defense Doc's messages told them to grind harder for the perimeter, they could always have done more after all.

I would say they were going for the "he can't attack us all" approach, but this is doc we're talking about, so he 100% would go to war with the entire server.

Doc did agree though In his last episode (Where he announced he would be on holiday/ vacation for 2 weeks) he said that he would be dissappointed if they don't do anything like this. Also the hermits have meetings frequently to discuss these types of things

@@leapixx I've gotten used to Iskall basically being off-grid from the server during the months of December to Februari, and then from July to September. To be fair, that's quite healthy considering he had been nearly facing burnout a couple of times. It's better to only upload 6 months every year than to upload a full year and be gone for 5 years to recover

@@killianvoy7194 the button is a hermicraft server-wide game where the button loses health as long as there are people loading the chunks around it. Players must keep the button alive by pressing it. The more risky you get when timing the button pushes, the better rewards you get. In this episode, the hermits have been on for many many hours, possibly loading the button a lot causing the health to go down a lot. Since no one made a big deal or mentioned pressing the button, it probably lost all of its health and died, thus ending the game. This is a big deal because hermits really like the rewards and hate losing, and whole battles have been fought over the button before. When they said the button died it was basically the equivalent of “WE LEFT THE STOVE ON” or “WE LEFT THE BABY IN THE CAR.” AKA, the hermit’s (unintentional) neglect of something caused them to lose a game. If you still have no idea what I’m talking about, look up “hermitcraft the button” on RU-vid. There’s a Hermircraft 9 Explained video titled “How A Button Caused an Entire War.”

I could resist the temtation of starting a discussion on this, but this is the internet after all. So, I can agree that it's impressive gathering this many Hermits for one single prank. But Doc on the other hand made this gigant hole all by himself. Yes, with the help of the hive mind, but the in game work, the grinding for the world eater, the building and the AFKing at the world eater for hours he did by himself. They just covered it on the surface.

Well, they did also charge for every person whose work is exhibited in the museum, so them reaching out to hundreds of minecrafters to exhibit their video clips wasn't entirely out of the goodness of their hearts by the sound of it.

Yeah, but it defeats the whole point of obliterating all land to remove spawnable blocks, so he's just gonna nuke it.

I really wish more creators would keep more of this creativity talk in their videos. It's really been a trend to replace all of it with timelapses and I feel like we miss out on hearing their actual thoughts theyre having while working on stuff. You really get a sense of what's in somebody's head while listening to them waffle on a bit. It's always insightful to me as a creator myself.

In the Buttercups defense, doc kept telling them they always could have ginded more for the glory of the perimeter, so they grinded as hard as they could for the perimeter project. I am looking forwards to his reaction, I'm expecting some varient of flabbergasted.
