Did you like the format that the second TCG match was presented in (ignoring that it was super short match)? Sped up and commentated over + graphics? Let me know! I'm trying to figure out the best way to present the TCG matches so feedback is welcome!

Oh man Shulkers added to Total Chaos is really gonna amp things up, I'm excited. Also I am pleased at how much everyone is enjoying TCG, Beef worked so hard on it!

You don’t have to play against the gamemasters, just have them “run” the game … they do help reduce the play time by changing the xp numbers, and clarifying questions about card actions. Joe’s poems and Cleo’s giggles are fun, too.😂

Those improvements to Total Chaos sound epic. And I'd love for a hermit to keep getting hit by shulkers and end up burning to death in the lava

Beef certainly hit the sweet spot with this game. Addictive personalities, many of whom already play physical card games or have in the past, and rewards for winning or losing. He's going to need to organize a tournament once everyone that wants to play has built up a decent deck with booster packs.

It's so nostalgic to see the entire server descend into "card game mania".

A fun boost to the next round of Total Chaos could be if the winner got a TCG booster pack. You could probably check with beef to see if you can make that happen.

This was a nice throwback to a few months ago when every single episode was “But wait, there’s more! Chaos that is!”

You could rename "Total Chaos" to "Total Chaos Game" so that there is another TCG [?]

I mentioned in joes stream last night that if you pair that Stress yolo with a totem of undying effect card you could save stress and potentially use the move a second time.

TCG is awesome, but the Hermits really need to take off the training wheels and start playing for keeps. So far, it's been all reward and no risk. But now we got a new GM in town! Come on Cub, get those Hermits out the kiddie pool and let's start playing TCG for real! BTW, I would LOVE if you'd post your live streams on your 2nd channel, uncut, unedited.

I love seeing how all the hermits edit their TCG matches, even in this video cub uses two different styles for showing the game. It's really fun :D

Just imagine a server where they combine: - Total Chaos - Decked Out 1 and 2 - Hermitcraft TCG - Among Us - Targét - Speedy Pines and/or the Ice Boat Race Etho and Ren are going to make. Who remembers Doc's S6 Phantom Menace and all the games from the gaming districts they've had. Like the one from the Charity Stream this season. The Trident arena, Horse Course, the Escape Room, Panda Drop, etc. One big Hermitcraft themed games world.

This month of streaming has been wild, most of my non-Hermitcraft streamers play Magic the Gathering, so suddenly every stream I tune into is card games! Can't wait to see what the new Total Chaos looks like!

i think your way of showing games is my favorite so far. i think it's very concise and easier to follow than watching someone's POV as they play. thanks for another great episode

That sped up fixed camera shot of the tcg game was great, good way to show games quickly

Cub is such a sneaky good builder. Sorta flies under the builder radar cause he's a little more classical - not so much of all the messy/organic look that does look awesome done by bdubs and scar and whatnot - but I've never seen any one get as much character and interest in builds using a more patterned approach. Like, the inside of the Pyramid in s7, especially the ceiling over the storage pit , just beautiful!!

That tease at the end though. We are so addicted just as must as the hermits. But obviously we can't watch every single match. Happy to hear that Total Chaos will be played again soon! How can you possibly make Total Chaos more chaotic? A few shulkers, apparently! Can't wait to see that version played! And gg on the elytra course! That's awesome that it's just under spawn, such ease to enter/exit.

17:15 such a good way to recap TCG matches! Other hermits were reporting difficulties with editing their matches but this would be a good template for all.

The time lapse recap you used is such a clever format I really hope it gets adopted by all of the players.

The format you presented the game works very well ! Best edit I have watch so far....

The way that second tcg game was edited was really cool

So i was thinking there should be two type of decks(ways to win) 1. A deck where you do most damage with hermits abilities. In this type of deck u only need to worry about the type of opponent you face (type disadvantage) and hp. So you take hermits who are high dps and for effect only healing and Armor types (i say splash potions of healing and the best Armor u can get). In this way out of 42 you can take 8 (or more actually) hermits, 4 (i say...) Effects (2 heal 2 Armor, for health splash potion of healing and a golden Apple or corus fruit) and the rest 30 item cards. In this way u gaurantee to have hermits and all of there abilities (since u have more item cards🙂) 2.A deck that does most of its damage with effects. In this deck you take the tankiest hermits (300 health and self healers, like bdubs). Also most effects will be damage dealing. Out of 42 you take 8 hermits (only) arround 20 item cards and rest (14 ) effects. So you will have hermits, not items always but effects to do damage. I would say have as much Armor type and damage effect as possible. Like have 2-3 labs bucket(coz u can't have more than 3) 2-3 Armor type(again) than may be swords or tnt etc. Ofcourse all this works after you do a lot of clever training.🙃 Also having only 1or 2 types of hermits is best(1is.....) especially for second types of decks coz u have less item cards so having one type is better. If someone thinks i am right or want to edit something u r welcome ❣️ I am posting this on all hermits vids so I can know there and/or everyone's opinion 🙂

Even after all this time, I get anxious when Cub is next to the water in his base and we hear the drowned. I know he's made it reasonably safe, but my game instincts keep telling me there's danger.

cubs elytra flying was actually really clean.

The small playerbase seems like a definite strength of the TCG because the evolution of the META is limited by the growth of player collections to enable the deck archetypes. The biggest challenge now for Beef will be logistically handling any card balancing (if he does some).
