Please mr doc, scar really needs help moving and maintaining the dragon. He will undoutely break it if he tries to move it himself and possible break his entire base

I like how the video length on most of these is an hour long but Scar’s is 20 minutes. That feels like a massacre is incoming.

I love how TCG has advanced to where people have really good and focused decks now. Doc's prankster deck is obviously incredible but Scar's deck worked pretty well, especially with Cleo copying Wels' ability. It'll be interesting to see where how the meta further evolves.

This mini series is great! Started playing the online hermit TCG after watching these because it looked so fun! Great job making the episodes still really fun to watch, not easy when you're just playing a card game

You're a monster Doc! Everyone is having fun and you use the collective powers of the Hive Mind to create a deck similar to a nuke. No, seriously, it's amazing what you did there and I'm somewhat similar in that regard, no matter what game I play, I instantly try to break it and find the best possible ways. That said, you should maybe really consider making a second deck. Being overpowered is not that fun if you play against your friends just for funzies, it can become frustrating for them rather quickly, that will make them stop having fun playing against you, maybe they lose interrest in the TCG at all and then it's done, which would be just super sad. Keep this deck for tournaments or other big occasions and use another one for friendly matches. I think the most frustrating thing is the Clock-Chest combo. Maybe consider not having a clock in your "friendly-deck" Anyways, thanks for the uploads! Hope to see much more from you and all the other Hermits very soon

Hi! I love how you all are playing TCG with passion and I'm as hyped as everybody else. On the other hand, I think there is not really a way to counter the prankster mechanics and it breaks the game a little bit. I love it, it shows how you can combine the cards but I did not see any other combo that could compete. I'd love to see new cards to explore even more the possibilities. Good luck with your perfect deck chase, I'm going back to binge watch all of the TCG games I will find

Pretty sure you should consult Beef on the Mumbo card. The 2x damage should only occur first, or an additive 40 damage after all effects. So max is 40 *2 + 40 *2 = 160 damage

I would think Cleo would be a powerful end-match card with a Prankster Deck one most of the cards are played. Kind of like a wildcard, or, I guess you could say, the Jester Card. I almost feel like the AFK hermits need to have their abilities unlocked before the Cleo card can use it, otherwise it's a little too OP.

Everyone else is playing Pokemon while Doc is playing an oldschool 'taking turns' Magic the Gathering Vintage deck.

Ever since you mentioned the fan-game I've been addicted to playing online myself... It's nice to play and what you guys play as well. heh

People need to realise that Mumbo's "Quite Simple" has two options for attack. 1: flip a coin three times for a potential 40/80/120 damage OR 2: guaranteed 80 due to an AFK prankster hermit. You pick one option, not both. You can't flip three times and double 120 into 240.

Awsome Video as always, two questions, first of all could you maybe break the wither Ai and make a mining maschine oit of it, and secondly, if you dupe the original enderdragon to the overworld and kill him there, couldnt you make an extremly oberpowerd Xp farm?

You know what would be fun, if you added some tense music to the background! Think it would simulate a real card game more, and the white noise in between turns wouldn't be as noticeable

GG Doc! Prankster deck is over powered for sure. However I may be wrong but I think Scar missed an attack with Cleo and just passed turn when he first brought her out. 💕

I think it would be really cool if you helped Scar set up for moving his dragon. He most definitely could use help with that and having a dragon under his theme park castle would be super sweet, which I think is what his plan was.

Doc in case you arent aware of them there are some fishing rods, which are basically ultra rare chests which let you draw 2 cards... if you managed to get a pair of them you could get into an infinite fishing rod clock loop :D

mumbos card states "total damage is double" id imagine , that would mean that the tnt gets doubled aswell. so 80+60 is 140 & then double that for 280

Doc, Mumbo's attack shouldn't have been doubled if he rolled one red/tail. Look at the rule: "if player doesn't roll heads at least once (means you failed once/got the tail), the above (double the damage) doesn't apply. So the damage on 16:19 should be just 140 (80+60 from TNT) damage instead of 220 (160+60).

It is fun for a moment to see how busted it is, though if i were beef i would change mumbo to ´if no other hermits are afk´. Still a total nuke but a high risk to loose too

That was brutal. Not sure I enjoyed that. That can’t of been much fun for Scar. You could’ve not played the clock multiple times and given him a chance to actually play and still have won easily.

Is it possible to make a burn deck in this game? Otherwise, is mill the best answer to Clock decks? edit: I call it a clock deck because, clearly Mumbo is the finisher, but clock is providing turn advantage and getting mumbo on the field alongside the afk pranksters needed to power him up. Because of clock seems like the engine driving the this deck, and could be powerful in any deck type, I imagine a countermeta is getting worked out.

Can't the Rare Cleo card be used to copy an AFK Mumbo's attack and then the AFK Mumbo itself would double the damage?

I think the clock needs to be nerfed by adding a coin toss. Edit: Making it single use per game or nerfing chests with a coin toss makes sense as well.

Beef mentioned that one of the win conditions is if the opponent runs out of cards to draw. In which case, could an excessive use of Rare TFC abilities prove detrimental to you?

Is there any common-type hermits that can compete with the rares? Anybody seen anyone using them on purpose?

I play EDH MTG. The main difference I'm seeing from MTG and Hermit TCG is that removal cards aren't that prevalent. Like there seems to be too few cards that mitigate an extremely powerful card like Prankster Mumbo. Would love to see Beef implement something for this

Rare Mumbo is so OP lol. Needs a nerf or a hard counter! Clock & chest combo should probably be reigned in a bit too, could probably do with adding a use cost there somewhere...

When TFC died you threw away an extra builder card you had in your inventory already. Just thought I'd point it out. Love your deck

Definitely a good idea to build a 'friendly' deck and keep this one for tournaments, if it's not banned by then haha - that level of power is cool at first, but it sure makes for boring video content :P

I think pvp type is strong against miner type. in the beginning cleo (pvp) attacks TFC (miner), without any extra damage. Still good game tho.

I have a mono-blue MTG deck that I never use, because it is not strong enough for tournaments, but it is too strong to have fun with friends.

You put an item card in you inventory and then when you cleared TFC you put it in your discard pile.
