Doc left those crowns behind because when he had found them he was on max Clank with only 2 hearts, no food, and his compass was for one of the artifacts that had their hopper minecarts moved so it couldn't be turned in. He realized he was basically dead, so no point in wasting the crowns. Either he was going to go back for them on a better run, or he left it up to fate and told other Hermits they were still there.

I've noticed that several Hermits miss or go past the drop spot when they refuse to put the compass in their hand and just keep in on the hot bar. You did the same in your stream yesterday.

Tango needs to add (CLOCKS) called "Willie's Missing Eye" to the crown shop. So when hermits are at the ship they can see if it's night or day.

Optimal move on that 'Pearl's Room' run might have been getting on the ship, I think. Fun runs as usual! Looking forward to seeing how Phase 4 shakes out.

The funny thing is Hypno first realized that pressure plate and took a note of it on his first week video, but seems he totally forgot about it.

12:25 Not sure if you've cleared this up since, but bonus Frost Shards are no longer determined by tomes submitted in the previous phase. Tango bases them on your overall Frost Embers accrued throughout all phases.

Taking the egg crowns was so cheeky and i love it

Doc didn't take the egg crowns because he didn't think he'd make it out that run and he had a rough time getting back there on later runs.

I like Tango's method of distributing shards for this week. It not only helps those who either have bad luck or are not as skilled, but it also promotes pushing yourself and learning new areas of the map. You may not get back as many shards as you lost out on, but you still have the map knowledge that you gained in exploration. Something I feel Cub got a good bit of during the precious week in the bottom levels

In decked out level 2, at the far end of the bridge, underneath and slightly to the right of the bridge, there is a 1 block wide, 2 block tall gap in the stone wall, maybe there is an easter egg hidden back there in a tiny hidden room, but maybe there are custom maps on item frames, with the stone texture pattern, to make it look like there is nothing there. Those item frames might be placed on a door so that if you were to run into it, you would not go through, but you would have to right click to open the door, to get through. This way it would be extremely unlikely someone would accidently find it, and the hermits would really have to think outside the box to find it. I think Tango said a while back, something along the lines of, there would be like 3 or 4 easter eggs that would be near impossible for the hermits to find, and Tango would have to give them hints. It's just that a random 1 block, wide, 2 block tall gap in the wall seems suspicious.

Thanks for keeping the dungeon sounds up. On some hermits videos I can't even hear the heartbeat.

There is a strong argument to buying keys for 2 crowns. Its basically a sprint to level 2 at that point. Majority of time is spent looking for keys

Shards are given out according to how many embers you got in the game so far, not how many tomes you submitted in the previous phase. If you had submitted one tome, you could have gotten one point. But of course that is hard to know in advance.

There’s a little stream in one of the ice cave rooms that leads into a hole (it's by a berry bush). I have a suspicion that there’s an easter egg hidden in there (There are a lot of obstacles like pickles and glass panes in the water, and the only place you can start swimming is from a ledge that’s pretty far away).

I enjoy that the Hermits just accept that Cub is going to steal one of everything for the museum.

i feel like half of cubs runs are cub-bot v.135 and it just derps in the dungeon. and the other half are actually cub and he pulls off ridiculous bullshit like he thinks his name is etho. We must cherish this relatable king. I hope he wins D.O.2 after all the museum work, our boy deserves it.

The level one easter egg has got to be underwater. It’s a classic hiding spot

Decked out 2 is the single biggest thing from hermitcraft that should be brought to the greater minecraft player base

Run 2: Cub, there's loads of berries on the ship, and Willie was blocked from hitting you. That would have been your chance to get up there and survive, restoring health, etc.

Hey Cub awesome episode! Good to see someone investigating the bit before the dungeon sliding doors. There is a button right next to where you get out of the cart that is really enticing! Also no one that I know of has checked the sides of those 2 stairs going out of the table room, eggs have been found so don't know if there is anything worth finding but worth a check. The thumbnail made me think you were going to recreate the ship in the museum!

I've been watching the view count on all of the Hermits' videos, and all y'all have almost doubled your average during Decked Out. a lot of ppl complain about rng in games but i really like it generally especially with how decked out in shaping, no one has the same cards beyond the commons, every deck plays different and its all because of the rng without it i feel like hypno and others would have jump boost or etho wouldnt of gotten 20 tomes this phase

Cubby careful not to overdo the victory tomes in a phase, the ember cost will hurt you in the bonus shard mechanic, meaning less tome opportunities for future phases. The winner will be the hermit with the most, non-wasted embers.

your thoughts added in text to the video are a nice touch but I found in some cases they spoiled the ending of the run, the one where you got the huge bdubs artifact for example

Great runs. Remember, a berry will fill a single heart when eaten slowly. When eaten fast, I think it only fills half a heart. As was the case at the end of run 2. Keep up the great work.
