Good man! :D To answer your question, to "get better" is subjective when there is no goal, but if the goal is to scavenge (loot) then in this case, "get better" is getting more loot, so, play the odds - every single scav, by that I mean, loot 3 times as many wooden chests as the required Common wood item, etc etc etc. Love to see how it goes, and thanks for great videos!
I have seen a few of your videos now and I love the crazy things you do in vaults :) I also think it’s incredibly cool in this instance your attitude and also the fact that the game creator is on the ground floor so to speak, so this interactions can happen! :) loving vault hunters, keep up your cool videos :)
Thanks a lot! Honestly, I do enjoy the game as a whole; there are only a couple of things that I've ever really complained about lol. Iskall may not agree with his players on all issues, but I do like that he listens.
I can't really answer that yet. TBH, I'm still not sure what metric I'm aiming for. I'll put out a vid with results when I have them. Meanwhile, I'm open to suggestions for the target.
Thanks for trying to improve VH concept, I myself dont play it that hardcore as I have little time to spend on grinding and always have cheats anabled which was helpful for apparently Slime bug, where I've found only one slime, no spawning in swamp or in slime chunks, which results in crazy amount of time to get around this otherwise. So yeah some features are definitely over the top, atleast its possible to set more rules now as some people want to enjoy and have not 12hrs a day to play this, some not even 12hrs a month 😂
I'm not familiar with the slime bug you mentioned. If it's a big problem on your world, though, there are alternatives: 1. An iSpawner with a slime egg can be used to make a standard slime (mob) farm. This works for just about every mob, since you can get both hostile and passive mob eggs from vaults. 2. Cagerium can also do basically the same as iSpawners, but passively. 3. Since VH includes Create, you can grind wheat into flour, combine that with water to make dough, and combine the dough with lime dye to make slime. If you have the right materials for the Mechanical Crafter (or similar item from another mod), you can fully automate this process.
So sometime around level 50 in the last playthrough I did, I just decided randomly that I wanted to be much better at the game and so I started running nothing but scavs and that alone taught me so much about how to run vaults "properly". I think I've gotten drastically better at the game and have around 65-70% completion over the last 20 scavs which I think is still pretty decent. They've definitely become my go to for running vaults now tbh, I really enjoy them.
@denalidtx well I did do a scav yesterday and completed no objective. It was a tough one. Had to get 20 books from wooden chest. I opened over 100 and got 7 I think
@@Vaalwater I'm not sure that's ever going to go away; even Iskall himself said that sometimes the vault will do that kind of thing. I think the question is, are those cases bad enough to negate the "fair" scavs.
Thanks I hate scav i think i have a 10% completion rate almost every scav i run ask for 2 omega items (wich never loot except when that item isn't required..)
Saddle bags troll me so hard lol. In one of my test runs I was short multiple saddle bags, then on the next run I got 3 at the very beginning. Do you mind if I ask what level you are? I've been getting omegas sometimes, but almost never 2.
@@denalidtx exactly, for me scav is like going to the casino, you enter with the feeling that everything is rigged but you go anyway i case it might be in you're favor xD
Weird video this, it's obviously subjective.. Just don't play it if you don't think it's fun but there's no objective win rate where you will suddenly enjoy it.
