HermitCraft S8#2: Base Face 

Etho! One of my favorite things about last season was the noteblock songs you would include in each episode. Are you going to be doing that this season? Or maybe not because of copyright reasons?

Considering this "wilson" is made out of copper, Cooper would almost like a pun!

Only Etho would put himself into his skeleton farm and stay that calm doing it.

Did anyone else notice how it showed for a second that he renamed 25 tuff blocks in his storage to "Life's Tuff'

Clearly, since this isn't Wilson, it's Will's Son.

It’s weird that Etho built a Bamboozler given he barely knows her.

I really want Etho to get super involved this season. Everyone loves when he is in the action.

I now understand why Mumbo's business isn't working, everyone is just taking potatoes without paying !

Etho made a portal with the corners. That means he's rich. Also, I like how both Etho and Iskall used the hitbox method to get a trident

The really cool thing about sharing a base is that other people are going to check out other Hermit's videos more. I definitely want to see Iskall's reaction to not-Wilson!

Did anybody else notice when Etho opened the stone chest at 10:31 real fast it is hard to spot so slow down the video you can spot some Tuff that has been renamed to say Lifes Tuff LOL 😂

I think it would be cool if the eyes were independently random from each other to increase the number of unique faces and make winking faces ;)

I love hearing Etho and Bdubs talk about/to each other because they have been friends for so long, through multiple servers, so there's so much history to riff off of.

Iskall will get a kick out of this. He does have a thing for seeing faces in random builds..😂

I haven't watched Etho in a long while, the last video of his I remember watching he was struggling for a good chunk of the video to make a functional enderporter on his single player world. Now I see him just casually making one on a server.

Etho, I don't know if you already said you were doing this, but once you get your trident, you could set up like gold 'Sonic' rings, with water in the middle of each, floating in the air -- like at spots around the underside of the mountain & at vantage points to make navigating around the base more fun and easier.

I only started watching etho. But I’m binging this channel just as much as I binge mumbo now.

I kind of like the "broken" faces, it actually almost looks like the two blocks on the sides are the cheeks also, maybe you could add another randomizer that would make the left mouth and right mouth out of sync every once in a while, so you could occasionally get a smirk / scar face instead of a normal smile or frown. But only for smiles and frowns, not the OwO faces. just a tiny add on but maybe you'll have to move the redstone back a couple blocks to wire it in, maybe not.

Pearl is actually the one who turned all (most) of everyone’s mobs upside down. Im surprised the hermits havent been placing copper in midair, so all 6 sides are exposed to air. So happy to see you having fun this season.

Hey etho! I just wanted to say thank you for helping me get thought some hard times. When I first started watching your videos my parents was abusive and was addicted to drugs and never took me to school so I didn’t know anything, I didn’t go to school till I was 16. Watching your videos really helped me. Your videos are the best. I am currently in college to get my RN(nursing) I live in my own house with my fiancé and little girl. Wilson was by far my favorite invention of yours and was what got my hooked on your channel. I’m happy that you’re building a new one (even though it’s much more simple!). I agree with the another commenter that Cooper is a great name!

Following on from the face idea: It would be cool if you trolled iskall by setting up redstone to change parts of the base on a long timer, that way whenever he looks at a certain part of the base it will change and change back. He'd wonder if you are doing it manually or not and itd be funny.

The shattered savanna is prime for some lore, houses built support on cliff faces, levers and pulleys and bridges, the INFRASTRUCTURE of the biome integrating with the verticality and shatteredness. Maybe you NEED a trident to get to places, and maybe eventually there's some elytra launchers to get you from one place to another. For item transportation you've GOTTA try using minecart chests for loading and unloading. Like building a fully automated system transporting shulkers. The items from the skelly spawner being transported by bubble column -> minecart chests -> unloading station/item sorter -> minecart shuffling to get things going on the correct tracks in the correct directions, rail systems spiraling up huge stone columns. Maybe at sea level you can have a pirate trading bay! For the general populous of S8 i think it would be amazing for people to all build sky bases, like steampunk airships, this biome seems a prime place for a Mortal Engines/Guns of Icarus dock/hangar bay/hub with it's verticality. Maybe there can be some type of arcane element in the biome, like floating rocks chained down, the whole area is an unstable magic zone, maybe your enchanting center is actually suspended over a massive drop into a scary dark ravine, maybe you have little redstone slime block launcher traps or transportation infrastructure for visitors. I love the A-Frame roof style iskall teased in that little building, I think it really fits well with the savanna biome and you should definitely push that theme the whole way. Make the whole biome a piecemeal civilization! Invite one more person (Beef!) to live there! The more the merrier! And one final request- you've gotta engineer some kind of zipline haha.

The Etho-Iskall Combo is one that gets me really excited for this season. Have a fun one!

Etho! I would love to see lots of secret rooms throughout the base. Little nooks and crannies to start the episodes in and then have clever ways out and to act like nothing happened.

Ergo is a gem among the remaining old minecrafters. He hasn’t changed much in all these years and something about that is comforting while watching his videos, and he’s the only person I watch that keeps every moment so interesting I don’t hardly ever skip forward. Been my favorite RU-vidr for around 8 years now I think and will be forevermore. Keep up the good work 👍

Hey, Etho! I think I've been watching your videos for around 12 years now and I can say that you are the only youtuber that I have watched every single video of. When you put out new videos it always makes my day. I know you have said in the past that you do not want to stream but have you thought of a second channel where you post less edited content of games other than minecraft?

Random idea for Copperson, some sort of fortune teller thing where you present him a concept and he judges it and makes a random face which indicates how succesfull it will be.

I'm a grown man that likes video games. I don't play as much as I used to. And I rarely play Minecraft for more than a couple of weeks a year, but damn I really like Ethos videos. Creative, technical, easy to follow and last but not least entertaining and fun! Thanks for making quarantine a better time, man!

It's funny how you and Iskall both have/had a lot of trouble finding tridents and Zedaph just casually got one on stream while breeding goats.

If you want feather falling 4 easily from enchantment tables, go for level 24 enchants. It’s far more common at that level than 30.

Can't describe how happy I am to see Ethos again, I haven't watched him since his ethos plays minecraft series.

I'm looking forward to this season. It's already of to a great start now that hermits our teaming up. You and Iskall make a fun team. Both of you have these crazy creative ideas and I think it will lead to a very unique base.

I'd suggest the name "Watson". Pretty similar to Wilson and is also a play on "wax on".

The broken faces are actually some of my favorite.

For the face, you could have a system where it treats each vertical 2 blocks of the mouth as a pair, and picks at random one of the blocks in each pair to be pushed out; this prevents the gaps in the mouth and allows for a grin! There would be 32 different faces

Hermitcraft is perfect for Etho because he can keep his let’s play but use this as his “new world” every year

I think Waxon could be a good name for him. It’s kind of similar to Wilson and it’s a nod to the copper achievement (wax on)

This is shaping up to be a super fun series Etho! I'm really happy to see all the collaboration, especially after how fun third life was. I can't wait to hear Iskall's laugh when he logs on and sees the face! Thanks for baring the heat for this one, I really enjoyed it.

You know Etho, every time I see a episode like this, it takes me back, the excessive amount of creepers makes me think of Captain Spaz. I've seen yu grow and grow even after 10+ years seeing you upload always feels like a drop of gold on a rainy day. Thank you for always being you and being great!
