I don't think it's connected to any of the current storylines. So I'm sure Xisuma did the programming and stuff. He is the server admin and also makes most the data packs that they use.

Interesting that barrels don't cause lag, given that they are a workstation block and chests aren't.

@@skylerlehmkuhl135 they're all tile entities, but chests can open which makes them have to render in differently from other tile entities. shulkers also have the same problem, since they move. that's how etho made sneak-e-e's last season! whole bunch of shulkers and signs made it not render after a certain distance, so it's no wonder actually having them be rendered causes lag.

@@tonydaletony for anyone looking at this thread, try installing Enchanced block entities to your mod list it will cut down client side (fps) lag down to nothing, also makes makes other items like beds less laggy Glow ink signs are one of the worst items in the game for client side lag - 100 glow ink signs brought my fps from 1200 to 120 when testing on a superflat world

yeah glow text on signs does cause lag, im pretty sure its actually because they have to draw the text like 5 times to get the effect so each sign is like 5 times as laggy as a regular one

Chest and barrels take the same space, but chests are better because you can access two storages at once... but yeah lag is bad...

This is absolutely good advice, and our cats that we adopted in short succession as kittens (as well as two of them, sadly only one still living, having been twins) definitely turned out the most normal, but there’s something special about my boy who was a solitary neonatal kitten (lost his mom, no siblings). I’ve got the luxury of being able to stay at home all the time and the bond we have now is incredible. However he did still have our adult cats around to socialize him in the cat department, though that’s always more of a gamble than just getting another kitten: of the three adults at the time one absolutely hated him, another was terrified of him, and only the last one actually regarded him as a playmate. Same thing with my previous neonatal kitten, we were lucky enough that our grandma cat then took on the role of mother. Just to clarify: I don’t rip truly tiny kittens away from their mother on purpose, I’m just in an ideal living situation to care for them when they have no other options and would probably die otherwise, so now whenever I want a new cat I patiently wait until a solitary kitten like that gets brought in. Can take a long time but I’ll be here for it and without the 24/7 care I’ve got the luxury of being able to provide those kittens don’t tend to survive. Sorry I’m rambling, I adore cats, Nugget is to melt for, I just wanted to second this advice but also with the add-on for anyone who might read this that it’s okay if you can only have one cat as long as you give that kitten plenty of love and playtime! Most kittens of a conventionally adoptable age have already been socialized (key socializing age is 2-7 weeks iirc), so while they definitely do better growing up with other kittens they’ll do all right if you make sure to shower them with love ❤
