Headlight -not tested, top speed,acceleration-not tested, wind blast-not tested, high speed crusing and rpm at 100kph-not tested.what have you tested then??
The original ZMR had that big buch look that no other bike at that time offered. This one looks modern and more in-line with r15 or gixxer. Although the price is absolutely bang on. Hope to see it recreate the magic that original zmr had.
That windscreen adjust-ability is like 2MP macro camera of our modern phones. Except that, we have exciting competitor in hand. Kudos to Hero for extracting class leading power figures from 210 cc engine! 👏 The heat tolerance and NVH levels need to be seen from full review. ✌
Having KARIZMA R Yellow with me since 13+ years with over 1L+ KMS, always amusing and same fella who drives me crazy! Never my mind thought to go with top/latest brands. I ❤ him pretty as much as my family ❤
The Karizma R was the first motorcycle I owned and learnt riding on. Still has a soft spot in my heart. Might actually buy this new one. I'll have to test ride it once it is launched in my city
Design is 10 on 10 it is getting hatred only because it is Hero... Some people has to come out from mindset that hero cannot produce good looking bike.. They are wrong it all started from xtreme 160r to xpulse 200, xoom scooter and so on...
That is the character of single DOHCs, you'll never find the Low end torque like long stroke low revving SOHCs unless companies make the engine super long stroke but then problem of engine knocking will be more prominent
@@subhajit1128dohc can be added with vva , but the cost will be high and engine will be more complex than it already is with vva . nobody gonna buy 3 lakh 155cc r15 . it is already like 2.5 lakh on road
I still remember the early Karizma ads that used to play on my cartoon channel Hrithik Roshan driving the legendary yellow Karizma and that dirt scenes ❤
I am pretty sure, Hero motocorp will definitely bring a premium variant of XMR like the rally kit addition of xpulse and definitely will make it a direct competitor for R15. They could have given a 14ltr instead of a 11ltr petrol tank.
I had a big doubt since ages, But got cleared Rishad bhai, Karizma is a cult, I would have liked if it was even continued today just like honda unicorn. But Unicorn is not just literally outdated handling, cushioning, The frame it uses, How its gonna react on fast highway when needed, And the competition other throws and the feel it gives You while riding. SO now i understand why A new karizma makes sense now. Hero never wanted to left behind in making conumer feel better while almost paying for the price of r15. Its better atleast in sheets but yamaha built , color, panels, does ages well, same goes with hero. ( Aspiring Motojournalist 😅)
The front forks bottoming out problem was prominent on the older Karizma as well, especially when you hit a pothole at high speed. Expected Hero to rectify this on the XMR
Yes HX 250R was my dream bike when I was in 12th standard but sadly they never launched that😭 I even remember XF3R and Hero Hastur 650 concepts 🥹 Upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 features a design which is similar to Hero XF3r When will you launch them Hero 😭😭😭
An exceptionally beautiful bike. No doubt. I would love to own one in all black. Sure, the USD fork is missing. Everything else seems great and this bike is a very complete proposition. Imagine what this engine would do if Hero made a performance variant of this bike in the future? 30-35BHP?155KG? USD fork in and a few features here and there? I am very curious to see what this engine can do if it's maxed out. Hero should surely go ahead with a more expensive variant for this bike. They can further grab a pie of the market share.
I don't understand the obsession with exhaust sounds in India. I mean, I understand that the exhaust sound added to Bullet's character but Pulsar, CBZ, old Karizma, and other classics were never known for their exhaust notes. Personally, I feel for performance bikes exhaust sound is a kind of energy loss, which could be saved and added to the bike's power. Performance is about silently zipping away, not roaring out loud.
USD forks are not necessary. It is only required in a committed race bike where all the load shifts to front in a corner braking scenario and the USD helps to balance the load. One can enjoy Karizma with normal forks while not being too committed to racing. It 's a beautiful balanced sports tourer. I sincerely hope it sells like hot cakes!!!
So many auto journalists are now releasing their videos in 4k and clear sound. Here the audio is not so clear and the background music is so loud, I really had to keep my fingers on the volume up and down button. Hope you will take it as constructive feedback and work on this.
I was waiting for a budget friendly sports bike with 200-250 cc engine for a long time. And i finally bought a Bajaj F250 last year since it was the only budget friendly bike with so many features and 250 cc engine. But now Hero has launched this awesome bike outperforming bajaj & many other brands. Kudos to Hero for bringing such a nice bike in an affordable price compared to other bikes of this range.
How does it look in real? Should I buy this bike or the R15M? Performance doesn't matter too much to me; I know both are equally good. Just tell me which one looks better?
I don't think so or may be with a detuned tuning, because this engine is high revving and xpulse and off road bike should have healthy low and mid range , they are not ment for top range , engine character and overall bike character doesn't match up
Yeah it does.. especially at high RPM.. the rush of power makes it difficult to handle when you're revving the engine, need better tyres radials maybe. The tyres are tall there's no problem with grip but it doesn't inspire confidence.
Good from HERO..Good front looks mainly due to HEADLIGHTS,Side looks decent but I feel this bike is small and has low road presence..(Just my initial feeling haven't looked in physical so can't say much) REVIEW From an RC200 OWNER..💙
Ary bhai ekdm sahi baat h .. itna bekar design h headlight ka ki pucho mat .. poori gaadi ka look khraab kar diya h .. split headlight de dete to jabardast lagti ... gixxer m bhi headlight hi sabse bekar lagti h ... or iski to xoom or glamour ki utha kar laga di h 🥲🥲 .. side look bhut acha h .. tail light or seats bhi kaafi achi lag rhi hain .. lekin headlight m gobar kar diya h 😒😒
A quite good package.. With good looks as well. But hero being hero makes the suspension softer as expected 🤷♂️.. Rest is pretty good. Heor might get good sales
Gorgeous design i really like it. This bike should launch before 4months i would definitely buy without any though. Its has all features which r usefull in day to day life.
I can describe this motorcycle in one sentence: It's a very good looking motorcycle, but it's not a Karizma!! It could be named as Xtreme 210S or anything else, but not Karizma by any means. The prime point for this, it should not be less than 225cc, which hurts its legacy & sentiment. Because back then, Karizma was a high capacity motorcycle amongst the tiny 100cc or max 150ccs in the market. How could the new avatar comes with lesser capacity engine, even though it produces more power on paper; let alone the tiny fuel tank and not having a comfy pillion seat than it's predecessor. As a Karizma owner for decades, I know it was always a low and mid range performer, but not like this high revving avatar. Wish, Hero Motocorp could understood the emotion of the peoples with Karizma!!
Hero is clearly targeting young buyers looking for an alternative to the likes of R15. Seems like the og Karizma owners were never the target audience. And yes, Hero knows that no one will really consider this if they hadn't used the Karizma name. The modern Tata Safari is a similar case study.
@@faustinepimento298 yes, you have a fair point. They just used the name and nothing else related to the og Karizma. But the og Karizma deserves a real successor, not just carrying it's name only.
2003 : - I was 17. 2023 : - Now I'm 37 ( married, have kids, wife ) Its a nice college go gaters show-off, performance & features oriented motorcycle. Not a practical 1. There're different type of age group, shape & sizes oriented people out there, it's a XMR NOT KARIZMA / KARIZMA R / ZMR. They're all legend, well engineered masterpiece & team managements, as well great value. Now a days engineering team r management wants money not a solid true blue great overall m/c. RIP Authentic KARIZMA 225R ✍️ ⚰️
Apart from name nothing else resembles the legacy Karizma. Mine is black color Karizma R dec 2012 model and still going good. I will go for Classic Enfield or Harley Davidson X440 when my Karizma's registration expires in around 4 years.
Flaws in design 1. Swing arm (basic pipes) 2. Under belly (not in body color) 3. Front indicator (position) 4. Brand logo (looks like cheap sticker) 5. Headlight (subjective)
those who compaining about the headlight from Xoom Scoter just look at Aprilla motorcycles headlights and then look at Aprilla scoters and try to find the difference , just because its Indian we can choose whatever we need to
How is rs200 as compared to xmr & can we trust XMR as its first in its segment launched bike. Can This can cause problems as its first such bike launched by HERO. Are hero bikes reliable?
