Fun fact from a note I wrote in my phone when I made this: In 1:12, "You think you're a villain but I know you're not", yqy still sees sqq as "xiao jiu" and will always call him by that nickname, that's why this scene was visualized that way. However, "xiao jiu" is already dead, he is not "xiao jiu" anymore because xiao jiu died the moment he burnt down the qiu manor, got buried when he became wu yanzi's disciple and completely disappeared when he found out that "qi-ge" is still alive and became an established cultivator in the most powerful sect without "coming back for him". "Xiao jiu" is dead, he is now shen qingqiu, the lecherous scum villain with a reputation completely dragged through the mud.

The misunderstanding between Yue Qi and Shen Jiu is the most heartbreaking one. If only they have a better communication in the original novel. Urgghhh I'm tearing up over remembering how Yue Qi died.

Luo Binghe straight up just looks like he doesn’t care and is like, “OMG, I literally just want to quickly grab Shen and torture him. Can you like not?” And I find that very funny.

AHHHHHHH!! I AM SHRIEKING!! Like Yue Qingyuan and Shen Qingqiu's dynamic and misunderstandings just makes my heart ache. According to the extra, original SQQ tried to remedy himself. Through the transmigrated author's perspective of the novel, it is known after the author gave advice to SQQ to better call for someone else because it might backfire ( SQH was referring to the time in the future that will happen when SQQ wanted to safe LQG but causing the unstable qi to backfire instead, and decided to kill LQG. ) Original SQQ was sad when he knew that YQY died. LBH described to him how YQY died from thousand of arrows. And I think LBH gave YQY broken sword to SQQ. Spoiler of Xiou Jiu (Original SQQ) and YQY Backstory : 1. Xiou Jiu become a beggar together with YQY, that at the time was called other name (I don't remember). 2. Xiou Jiu was forced to be a slave/servant in a noble house or something together with YQY. Xiou Jiu abused by the eldest young master of the Noble house secretly without letting his sister know, who like Xiou Jiu quite a bit. Xiou Jiu would sometimes go to her room to escape from the torture because he knew that the eldest young master wouldn't torture him in front of his sister. This is why SQQ has the habit of going into the brothel, from his childhood he thought that that kind of place was safe (with female). I think there was a chapter where it is said that he never done anything else except for sleeping. 3. Xiou Jiu missed the chance to enter Cangqiong Mountain Sect together with YQY because the eldest young master broke his legs, I think? Then was imprisoned in the young master's study. At that time YQY promised him that he would come back and save him, but even until Xiou Jiu burned down the mansion he never comes. The reason was because YQY accidentally entered Qi deviation because he was in a hurry in his cultivation and got a backlash, the sect master at the time forced him into the cave until he can overcome it by himself, but it said that YQY continuously unable to do it and was on the verge of death everytime. 4. ouch, this was painful to watch, i think that yqy knew that shen jiu suffered a lot in the qiu houshold so after shen yuan went to the mountain to be a cultivator he tried to make it up to him for not rescue him. Canon yqy in proud inmortal demon's way died trying to get shen jiu back /protecting him from luo binghe and his death was so sad.
