Hero N Villain Duet | Pink Diamond & Rose Quartz 

This representation of pink and rose is by far like one of the best I've seen and the animation is so gooood

I would just like to say that this is what I got from this video and I couldn't help but ramble about it. I adore the fact that Steven is standing behind Pink instead of Rose and I love the way the line "You never came to save my world" is used during this. For me it has two meanings, the first is that in a way this is Steven sort of speaking through Pink we've seen how similar the two are while they grow up. And the second is that what we know about Pink is that she feels things deeply it's something Rose could never get rid of when she became well Rose. But while Rose felt strongly of freedom and justice, Pink cared more for her family, she only ever wanted to make White, Yellow, and Blue proud, and when she couldn't it hurt her. She loved everything extremely hard as Pink and in a way she was a bit naive because of it. So when we see this line through her eyes and we see her with Steven it's Pink demanding to know why Rose would hurt the ones they loved, why she would do something to hurt those they cared so much for that they risked everything for. Now I'm not saying Rose didn't love those she surronded herself with and I'm not saying that Pink didn't mess up massivly multiple times, but we're seeing this from a child/teenager pov and a grown adult pov. For Pink, love of every kind was everything and for Rose, freedom of every kind was everything.

I wasn't expecting to get a Steven universe recommendation in 2023, but I'm more than happy that I chose to watch

Okay, wow here before this blows up, this video has amazing quality and I loved every second of it, truly hoping it blows up becasue talent like this shouldnt go unrecongized.

This is a beautiful animation and pink is my favorite character, the way you draw her is amazing

This is simply AMAZING IN EVERY WAY. The art 10/10, the expressions 10/10, the movement 10/10, the flow 10/10. Such a good animatic showing pinks extremely deep character and showing shes not the pure villan so many have chosen to see her as, pink was flawed and made mistakes BAD mistakes but its so easy for us to claim we knew a better way then she choose we weren’t her we haven’t lived her life we weren’t the ones that was in the middle of the chaos and had to make choices important choices in the matter of seconds having lived her life of PDs wants and wishes not meaning anything to the diamonds and not ever getting thru to them and being hurt for being her self. Pink made alot of mistakes along the way but for a human who lives about 100 years and the mistakes we can make? Compare that to pd someones whos lived THOUSANDS of years only understanding to grow up when earth became hers and was already in such deep pain. Shes not a saint but she is also no sinner to me pink shows what being human is our wrong doings, our mistakes, growing up becoming a better person in the end, and wasn’t that all she really wanted? To be better? Gems dont grow up they arnt meant to learn it took pearl what thousands of years to learn how to fight while a human can do it in 20 years?. I think royal pearl sums up pink the best “pearl always knew rose wanted to (change or be better) but never understood why, pink pearl never thought pink would be capable of changing”

i always haded pink dimond but this sorta brings a cool-aunt vibe to her. imma.... imma work on that. its fanfic time

I love the idea wanted to fix everything but she not innocent in all pain she caused she was unstable with the diamonds but she also responsible for the war and didn't what to do next and this seemly on going battle of ideals and want love and hate with diamonds that turn into a war. Pink was in pain but she wanted a whole new life fill with love and happiness and gave so many gems purpose and let them be free but at price of they're lives as she continued this acu against the diamonds as well herself as well faking her death which diamonds snap and no longer had any mercy for this rebellion and completely shattered million s rose would spend centuries trying to undo her mistakes and continue to fight the diamonds and sub consciously knew it was her fault in some way if she didn't run away if fought harder pink or rose for change maybe things could've been different so she kept trying to distract her self with earth beauty, love anything until she met Greg and pregnant with Steven and now had to face this child her form her place her actions all it and she do nothing but reflect and wait and hope he could make a difference. Though a selfish wish she had indeed but it came true at price of Steven childhood. she was villain she was not hero she pink diamond she was rose and she was a mom who changed the course gem history forever. She was selfish, she abuse, she abused and abandoned people.now seeing she more of villain but I still feel sorry her but don't also and I wish we had gotten half of this in the writing it still a good show but uh I wanted more in depth writing for rose character being morally grey to neutral instead of chaotic good. As well her reflection on what she did was did in end

Wow! Just wow! This scene has better choreography and expressions than any muscial number from Steven Universe!!! Actually something I'd see from a classic disney movie! Oh and the scene wear Pink Diamond goes into Rose Quartz's hair, just wonderful, chefs kiss!!! Best Steven Universe animatic I've seen!!! Thank you so much for making this!
