In todays video I got a new World Record Speedrun in Minecraft. Hero of The Village is a category extension on the official speedrun leaderboard website. This speedrun beats the current World Record by 10 seconds and it's still not optimized, it is definitely possible to get a Sub2 minute run on this category.

I think it's the render distance that forces them to spawn right in the middle of the village

If your render distance is 2 chunks, that’s the only place they’re able to spawn.

No it is not. This is Random Seed, compared to the RSG World record this is so much faster. Same with HOTV SSG, its also faster than the RSG Set Seed World record. You compared two different categories here :)
