Hero Police Dog Finn awarded PDSA Gold Medal 

His dad loves him, and Finn is a hero in the true sense of the word.

Just finished reading Finn's book. I didn't know about him before that, but I've always loved german shepherds. I hate that the law doesn't treat them as anything more than property. My heart goes out to you two. He's a wonderful boy.

I also know about #FinnsLaw and #FinnsLawPart2 I have met Finn and Dave and their family on several occasions and i am proud to be considered as a friend. Even though the incident happened about six years ago, having just watched this video again it still moved me to tears 😭 Finn we all love you 😍🐾

In no small part to Britain's got talent a new law came into force called Finns law. An attack on a police dog is now considered in law, the same as an attack on a policeman and so it should be. To use a weapon on an unarmed human being is a cowardly act, to do so on an animal is even more so.

Heroes can be 4 legged or two legged k-9 police officers put their lives on the line for us every day they are a special breed in a class all their own. The next time you think of hurting or harming a k-9 officer you better think twice because you are actually assaulting a officer of the law and your punishment will be severe !!! Especially when that fur missile comes at you full force he will take you down and apprehend you he always gets his or her man !!! K-9 officers truly amazing, brave, fearless , precision ,and well trained animals a true asset too any police force the first line of defence and true team player. Shame on the police that put these dogs in harms way. It's a pointless law because if a person is attacked by any animal they have a right to defend themselves as it is human nature regardless of law breaking or not. I have a dog myself but if any dog try to attack me especially a dangerous one I too would defend myself by any means. The only person to blame here is the person responsible for the dog.
