In this video we are going to explain Dorian’s Vampirism Aura.
In a few battles, we see Dorian's vampirism aura does not cover heroes and gives the perception that the battle is glitchy.
With this video, we will try to clarify how the Dorian Vampirism aura works.

Increases Vampirism of nearby allies. Vampirism aura 115%
Dorian’s aura has a certain radius, all heroes that stand in this radius get the buff. This means the effect depends on the exact place of your heroes on the battlefield and not their position in the lineup. If the hero leaves this range for any reason the effect of Dorian’s aura disappears.
The pink circle around Dorian on the ground and other heroes near Dorian define who is an inside range of vampirism aura.
In the following battle, you can watch closely the range of Dorian’s vampirism aura. Pay attention to how Nebula for a short period gets an inside range of Dorian’s vampirism aura.
Sometimes some heroes look closer to Dorian but they don’t get an inside range of the vampirism aura. Heroes are standing in 2 lines one is upper and someone is lower, yet the radius of the heroes is defined by the horizontal axis only. Heroes stand this way for better visuals and not to take other heroes' space, so we can see each hero’s damage dealt and effect applied.
You can see which heroes are closer to Dorian by looking at the heroes' portraits, they have a certain order. You can see this order when composing your team preparing for an attack. Some heroes stand closer to the enemy team mostly melee warriors, they need closer distance to deliver their attacks while other heroes can use ranged attacks, so they can remain distant.
Each hero has its attack distance.
In the following battle nebula looks closer to Dorian than Sebastian but is out of aura range.
Qing Mao and Drian are not Compatible
Qing Mao's “Qing Long“ skill pushes enemies back:
Summons a dragon spirit that hits the nearest enemies three times burning them for 5 seconds, pushing them back and damaging them.
Since Qing Mao's auto-attack range is much less than Dorian's one, she needs to step forward to attack enemies after using “Qing Long“. In turn, Dorian's auto-attack range still allows him to attack heroes without moving forward. Dorian's aura has its effect range too, and the center of the aura is where Dorian stands. When Qing Mao moves away from Dorian, she is no longer affected by his aura.
