This is the first nicely designed bike from Hero Motors. Most of their designs look like bathroom buckets.

Given the average height of 5.5' that has never happened & won't happen.. Indian's love bullet for a reason. Off road motos that have shorter seat heights are a joke

Hero made indians proud again by launching this semi offroader for starters. Unlike the baby g310 gs this xpulse will handle the offroads much better .what do you guys say ???

Handling and ergonomics of the Impulse was excellent. Instead of spending so much on the R&D, it would have been wiser for Hero to plonk thins engine and electricals on to the Impulse frame with a bit more chassis stiffening. That would have helped the present Impulse owners to source the spares easily and would have reduced the overall weight of the bike. Except the low power, Impulse had nothing to complain about. Even today, the Impulse looks far better and matured than the xpulse

Hero Xpulse 200t is the best urban touring motorbike👍 It completes usage of a city motorbike and it can be used for touring as well. Perfect displacement, power and affordable (fuel intake and maintainance). Its the best urban and economic touring bike🏁🏍🏍🏍

Can't do that. As Karizma was a joint partnership between Hero and Honda, when Honda was not operating in India. It was mentioned in agreement, no changes(except cosmetic/sticker changes) can be made to Karizma R/ZMR. This troubled Hero to continue with Karizma family. So they had to kill the Karizma bikes.

The best off road bike in this price category it have 10 step adjustable monoshok, fuel injection, fully digital meter with Bluetooth connectivity, Led head light and Abs

Why no one talks about the big disadvantage of xpulse not being a tubeless tires. The thought of getting stranded with a flat tire is so terrifying.

Yes bro you can easily handle it , cause I am also 5.7 & I do ride Himalaya and it is little shorter than Himalaya . Few month back one of my friend got Xpulse and honestly speeking I am in love with it ....... So easy to handle it in City condition and semi off-road condition compaire to Himalaya . Koi koi bol raha hai power is less but don't forget the price tag ...... Is price range mai how can you expect more ????? Go for it Brother , enjoy your ride & safe ride ....

I have booked Himalayan but recently I went on trip with my old Classic 350cc to Zigzag roads of Sikkim. I found it very challenging to lead the steep curves due to bike's heavy weight and that's when I got caught attention of my decision to buy Himalayan. Now am considering buying Hero Xpulse thus cancelling by booking for RE. Any comments on this would be highly appreciated.

I went to the show room for xpulse but they only had 200T and it was not upto the expectation the look was funny I think

There are lot of areas of improvement..... 1)There is no cooling system,neither liquid cooling nor oil cooling.Hence,long distances are harsh on engine.No off-roader would take a bike to off road in a truck,we need to travel more than 200 km to find an off-road,a cooling system is must for this. 2)There is no 6th gear 3)Struggling a lot even at normal speeds of 90+ km/hr,4 valves can be an economic alternative to the issue. 4)A little more power is a must,learn from Bajaj NS200. 5)Tubeless spoke wheels are required for Xpulse.

200T T stands for Taxi. Pawan Munjal of Hero invested in Rapido. And the digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn to turn navigation is meant for the city navigation.

People said many a times that if impulse get a karizma engine, it will rock, they might have took more time but it would be real success in 200cc bikes segment both for t and standard xpulse.

Well the problem is Hero doesn't have a 300-400cc engine. When Honda left them, all that their R&D was able to come up with, after all these years was somehow adding extra 50cc to their same old 150cc engine(extreme/hunk engine which originally belonged to Honda)!

No one buy a Hero for 1.5 laks thats why they concentrate on smaller displacement bikes... with this 200cc engine they trying to enter the youths biking Hope they will hit markets hard and introduce more sports based bikes

From almost 20 years splendor is highest selling bike and still at the no1. No Honda no Bajaj no tvs still hero at no1. But they have to evolve

People ( general public, unlike some rich kids here) want a powerful enough bike that gives acceptable mileage (>40), practical to drive long, market, take Grandma, sister, ease of maintenance etc. Hero has certainly taken the in to consideration.

Bhai mereko daily up n down 70 km travel karke office jana padta hai..aap suggest karo na ki kaunsi bike lena chahiye mujhe in terms of riding quality, comfort, milage and offcourse engine reliability. X pulse bs6 (fi+liquid cooling) or FZS V3 BS6

The last good looking bike that Hero made was the 1st CBZ and probably the old Karizma... both bikes under the Honda wing... if anyone say they like Hero Corp motorcycle designs... I don't even want to talk with you.

What's with the chopped frame near the exhaust root? 😕 That front fender is way too long and nearly a nusiance for that small headlamp... I'd rather fit a Himalayan fender if it's possible & Im still waiting in late August for 200 fi to be delivered 🙄

seeing all reviews, my heart goes down, i was thinking of of economical off roader, it wasnt, thinking around 75k it is 30 k expensive, thinking real challenger to RE Himalayan, it is no where around it. Its real failure for HERO, not as great looks as Himalayan nor even like impulse

hero is the most afraid brand in our country right now..they never challenges themselves with d new product nd they could hv come up with. always make a 200 cc air cool engine that can produce 18 or some odd bhp..thts it done..put it into various chasis..add some faring into it..and here is ur 200s..same goes to xpulse 200t and 200... nothing experimental..boring

Nice review. Love the xpulse 200t but cost is very high for me. Hero have any idea to launch xpulse 200t, 150cc variant as the same design cost under 80k.

one can't ride trails standing on the foot pegs in crouched position for long being 5.9ft & above , looks & riders triangle for this adv motorbike is a disaster, . ,.r&d team what were you thinking???.hope u guys launch aftermarket parts for the same as to cater it according to riders needs,

@Abhishek A it's half the price of Himalayan, and the power to weight ratio has only a slight difference. Xpulse is lighter by 40 kgs which makes a huge difference in performance, especially off-road.

Xpulse 200 is underpowered for high speeds. But built tough for offroads. Pulsar 220's engine would be a perfect fit for this with an 6th gear.

They should have used the karizma's 223 cc engine on the xpulse twins. Now they have kind of owned the 100, 125, 150 and the 223 cc honda engines so why to use A rebored unicorn engine? Or atleast change the gearing. The 150cc xtreme sports can do more speeds than the xtreme 200 !
