Heroes 3: 9999 x 7 Dragons (Final battle in the map "Unleashing the Bloodthirsty") 

I honestly have no idea how to possibly beat this without berserk.

This does remind remind me fondly of Dragon Slayer campaign in AB. Why yes, I naturally only managed to beat it by building up virtually unlimited mana pool with Intelligence, and spamming Blind, Berserk, DisRay, Resurrection etc (plus buffs/debuffs like exp Slow, Precision, Frenzy, Anti-magic, Forgetfulness etc were also a must, though Enchanters more often than not took some of that work off my hands), but, like the guy above me already mentioned, most of these super crazily farfetched PvE battles are nigh impossible to beat otherwise while still managing to keep the entire army mostly intact for future battles(especially important in Dragon Slayer, since you couldn't purchase units and carried a remaining army through missions). Needless to mention, I had a helluva blast with that campaign. And, even though I'm still utterly unusable in PvP/competitive H3 just like I was back then, it was still nice enjoying some of my peers' envious eyerolls, as they generally gave up after a few tries of Faery Dragon mission lol. Furthermore, I also enjoyed sandboxing the shit out of that Europe map(Viking We Shall Go!), and uselessly dragging already all but beaten scenario on just to stock up on hundreds of superdragons. : D My PvP/competitive-oriented friend called me a junkie back then. : P

But you're right -- there's no way to win this fight with the troops you have, so you have to depend on Berserk...

why doesn't the "blind" spell fall off when you cast something on the target? Is it some mod or some exploit I did not now about the spell?

you dont, that should be a point. Impossible battle should be impossible. Exploiting primitive game mechanics means, that there are two primitives. Gamedesigner and a player.

@@tomascernak6112 you can grind till u have 9999 titan + ammo cart and force field. but of course that would take too long, but nothing is impossible

what is OP or boring on using berserk, the point tof this skill is about game changer of situation. it is realy pure, fair and good tactic :)

No need to be sorry :)) This game is meant to be fun for everyone, so as I have always said in my channel, just have fun with the billions of ways to win a battle :) I by no means try to be the best and/or win the fastest or anything like that. Not needed.

Most other spells last as long as your hero's power skill. But for this Berserk spell, it lasts only 1 turn. That's why we have to recast it on every turn.

You need to obtain the artifact "Armor of the Damned". You can google to see how it looks.

@@sebiandrei1910 It's a combo artifact (combined by smaller artifacts) so you can either get it as a whole or get all of the smaller ones. So, it all depends on the map :)

@@algirdasnavickas119 Well, in Heroes 3 there is something called "shots" for shooters. If you keep shooting needlessly when you don't have an Ammo Cart then your shooters will soon be out of shots and that's it. You'll have to summon their clones and stuffs. So yes, I know, might save 1.2 minutes of watching time but I don't want that. And I don't see it as a bad thing either. some people actually like to watch longer videos :))

Yeah, that would be correct if you somehow still use the old SOD version of the game. With the current H3 Complete version, no it doesn't work anymore. :)

Yeah, that's usually the case. What makes you think otherwise? If you're talking about the Blind spell on the Faerie Dragon, then it stays very long because my hero has high power skill.

No, that's not allowed.

When your hero has Expert Fire magic, the first strike (that wakes up their unit from Blind) won't trigger a retaliation. Only the first strike.

Yeah I really wish so too. But there's some company firing copyright claims on H3's combat themes so we can't use that.

I did that in many of my videos, check them out. This is just a small special final fight, and 200 AA is too few. Final fight -> no need to resurrect !

Haha, don't worry, this is a super special map (Unleashing the Bloodthirsty), with a story and specific settings. Normal maps, you don't get this many troops and never will :)) Just play for the fun !

I explained that in other comments. This is the final battle of a map, no need to waste time resurrecting (there is no other enemy left...). And for 99.99999% of the battles in my channel, I have already done the strategy you mentioned, no need to do it here, too lazy :) - and near the end, I did use the bear's clones to attack them. One small note to you though, even the clone is unnecessary because we have Expert Fire, so we can just hit directly with the real bear, the enemy troop cannot retaliate. That's just how Expert Fire + Blind works :) (first strike after Blind won't trigger retaliation)

Understandable :)) But some remarks here: - To use Berserk, you always need to "set up" first (aka lure the enemies to a focal point etc.) You can sometimes use it right at the beginning, but - well, let's think optimization, right? - It's not usually every day that we defeat 7x9999 Dragons :)) So just use what's needed.

With Expert Fire magic, you can have first strike with no retaliation. First strike only.

For example? And TBH, the goal is to win the battle. And we won. The game is also meant for doing whatever you want, while sipping a cup of tea or playing with your dog or sth. It's Heroes 3 - no need to rush or do exactly "this" or "that".

@@EmiliaKaida I agree, just pointing attention to some optimisations :) For example you don't need to create a clone to attack expert blinded enemy - he wont attack you back :)

This is the final battle of the map, I don't bother doing that. On other occasions, I do that and people complaining "Why are you wasting my time doing that etc etc...". And now when I don't do that, people also ask. What the hell, haha.

The name of the game is "Heroes 3 of Might and Magic" for a very good reason.

The mapmaker designed the enemy's troops like this, we can't have a choice.

I know. But what you said is true for the shooters only. If you attack with multiple of our melee troops, then they'll retaliate = and ba dum tss, you have losses now. You can retest and see. Even with Expert Fire magic, only the first strike after the Blind will cause them to miss their retaliation, all strikes AFTER that do NOT. And I like to cast some spells, like Bless and Prayer, just so that my troops are stronger (Bless for constant damage), and yes, most of them are redundant for this case because my troops have much stronger attacks anyway, but hey, don't nitpick. Why do people always nitpick in Heroes 3 games? That's pointless IMO. Oh and btw, don't ask me why I don't cast Resurrect. This is the final battle, and I don't want to waste people's time by making them watch me resurrect a ton of troops.
