I just saw the announcement about H&G 2. I will be making a video about it soon. I mean... when I said 'they don't release anything noticable' I wasn't expecting that xD

The chat mod system, if my memory serves correctly, could be used by the players themselves if they applied to be a chat mod, being a separate account from their main one. Since they can look into the chat of all 3 factions it could possibly be abused to get intel for their own faction.. that's what alot of people in the HnG discord were so worried about and despised the chat moderation for it (and of course caring more about peoples choice of words rather than well... more important things)

I uninstalled this tragedy of a game a while ago and I will not reinstall it. Their so called "updates" are so underwhelming, despite a certain someone declaring last year "THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT!" One year later we've got nothing worth mentioning. I've hoped for this game to make a comeback for years. But now I gave up. I'll wait until Hellborne is released as it has good chance to be a straight up better HnG with an actual engine. Love u GPAKOS

You've just scraped the tip of the iceberg, fellow GPAKOS. In my case this game was literally trying to ruin my life. First of all, after some update the game started freezing after the countdown finished, or if It didn't - a dead hang was just a question of peeking through you tonk's scope. Imagine yourself having to kill the game and rejoin every time you got in time for the start of a battle... And it wasn't even the most nasty thing it was doing. Last half a year or so my PC felt worryingly unstable - every now and then it got itself a hefty old BSOD. That was sub-ideal considering I'm working with the CG for living. And one time the blue screen didn't just disappear instantly, but hung for a couple of seconds and I was able to see the culprit. And it was the BattleEye! Ten minutes later after finding out tons of forum rant on literally every game this damn malware got shipped with - I've just eradicated H&G from my system alltogether. And the flight was good. Then I've suspected it could be just sth broken in game files, I've installed it from scratch... On the third battle it hung up after the countdown, and after the end of the fourth I was congratulated with a gorgeous BSOD! Filled with disgust, I've instantly eradicated all of this mickey-mouse stuff off my PC and had no stability issues since then whatsoever. Tell me where to sign under the fact that RETO is just a pack of cashgrab assholes utterly incompetent not just to introduce new features flawlessly, but even to successfully upkeep the game and iron their project out throughout crap loads of years. Hope they're receiving as miniscule stream of cash as their efforts not to cut corners on everything are. In fact, knowing how this market works - the actual H&G devs must have been fired right after the game went public, and since then RETO is just a couple of managers counting their cash and some indian or chinese (wherever they can get it cheaper) support workers. All of the updates are outsourced (the cheap price being the key as well, ofc) and hence y problems are so terribly long to fix and there is a complete lack of style identity that especially shown itself by all of the soldiers getting a Pooteen face at once.

Glad they added chat mods instead of filtering everything automatically. H&G chat wouldn't be the same without all the shitposting

And they still don't do stuff veterans have been asking for for years, like 1. Class Limits 2. Remove captured weapons 3. Remove the glow around dropped weapons (not only does it kill fps, it also makes it way easier to see where enemies are) 4. Fix spawn points (like Town E4, all they had to do was to move the attackers spawn over the river. Now, with the new capture point, you still don't get a bridgehead at the other riverside) And don't get me started on weapon balancing. it feels like asymmetrical balance is gone, and everything has a counter.

KEEP THE OLD HEROES AND GENERALS UP! DO NOT SHUT DOWN THE ORIGINAL GAME FOR THIS! This kickstarter will fail. You have upset your entire community with this news. WE PAY WE SAY. If they want to shut down the old game, then don't donate. We speak with our wallets. Keep the old game and servers up and running! I wont spend a minuet on this new game if you dont keep the old game playable. There are many other people like me that said they would quit and never touch your games again if you shut down the OG Game... There is time to reverse this decision . It is time to speak up everyone! If you don't want to lose all of the time and effort you put into the original Heroes and generals, then speak up! I am not going to lose this game. We should be able to play BOTH GAMES ANY TIME WE WANT. WE PAY WE SAY!

In GTA Online, you can go into a solo lobby. You'll have to go into Story Mode first in order to do so.

We needed a realistic, Reto-based "working as intended" and it came out perfect. Glad it's never lost and even better, on top! Too bad Reto was incompetent mainly because of the game director (the one in the fire image) was terrible at his job and responsible for the bad decisions that killed the game eventually.

I almost cried watching this video. I can not find any game close to this menu design. Even badges art is so unique so when you unlock something it feels so freaking satisfying with the sound effect. I wish it never died, I can not enjoy and other game in this genre, not like this.

they could finish what they started. not that half of the weapons have a new look and the rest don't. and I know many titles of games that are already years old and still people are happy to play.

You don't have to apologize to us for your update ratio Gpakos, Reto-moto has to apologize to us for their update ratio. What did we get in the last year from H&G? almost nothing, meanwhile WarThunder got F-14 and Mig-29.

I can't believe that this game looks fun again,but it's being shut down. What's the point of adding tutorials and then shutting down the game? I have grinded soooo much and won't even be able to transfer all that shit to the new game. We just wanted a Unreal port not wasted 1000+ hours
