Heroes of Heydrich Terror 

On the 81st anniversary of the gun battle.
The National Memorial to the Heroes of Heydrich Terror is located in the underground of the Orthodox cathedral of St. Cyril and Methodius. After the successful assassination of Reinhard Heydrich by Jozef Sabik and Jan Rubí, the seven Czech paratroopers hid in this churches catacombs.
Adolf Opalka, Jozef Gabčik, Jan Kubiš, Josef Valčik, Josef Bublik, Jan Huby and Jaroslav Svarc were the seven Czech paratrooper heroes, who lost their lives that day, at the hands of the Nazis.
