The Warcraft homage is very intentional - they even had to tone it down by request from Blizzard. Serfs were called peasants originally, and the orcs used to ride turtles in the water. All that makes me very happy! I love love love Warcraft 3!
Brice Lory I feel you! Original Warcraft and Warcraft 2 were the first 2 computer games I ever had! Loved them! Used to use the cheat codes all the time! I think glittering prizes was the one in wc2 that gave you all the money 🙌
Thanks for the review, Roy! Looks like a really cool game. I've never played a 4X game before but this one really grabs my attention. I do play with a lot of casual gamers, often introducing games for the first time. Have you found it very difficult to teach? Also, any comments on player count or game length?
Matthew Halowell as far as Civ style games this one is way easier to teach than most! It’s cool because it’s relatively simple to understand & teach but still has depth of decisions! I’ve enjoyed all player counts but I think I enjoy multiplayer more than two players just for the added negotiation aspect! Expansion even goes up to six players which works really well! I plan on shooting a video for it once I’ve played all the new factions!
JeffreyQProductions 30 per player really seems about how long it took! 🤔 maybe add 30min if you have multiple new players? The game could probably even go faster if someone is pushing for an end game condition?
