Did you notice that the first and last conversation took place at the same table? 0:39 Sandro started the puppet-show with the major protagonists; 19:27 Ended up being the puppet of Finneas. I really enjoyed the archetypal story arc about a sophisticated villain who was beaten in his own game. I'm almost sure that the references with the opening / closing table scenes were intentional. Classic games had fascinating narratives.
@@golternator333 I agree, however I'm almost sure that both the primary and secondary skillsets of the campaign heroes are generated randomly every time you select the sub-campaign. Hence you can configure your hero by restarting the actual chapters in order to avoid redundant skills.
Gem is daft... Crag Hack is daft, Yog is daft, Gelu is daft, Finneas is daft, Lord Haart is daft, and yet somehow they all ruined the good guy's plans. Poor Sandro. At least my bae didn't die. Vidomina.
Sandro is a bit daft as well, given that he could have not backstabbed them before going on with his evil plan and they would have been none the wiser.
Sandro being just like me as a kid trading necromancer cloak parts from my cousin. That kid had no idea how much more power that 5% better necromancy would give me. Soon the amount of powerliches were in the tens of thousands.
Its a very tedious campaign, especially in the ending stages. You need 1. Flag all stat improving signs 2. Get Expert Wisdom/Earth/Water necessarily 3. Get as many "GOOD" spells as possible 4. Delay victory until level cap All this is not only recommended but "NECESSARY" to win the later stages (Especially ones like "UNION" and "KREEGAN ALLIANCE"). Thus, it ruins immersiveness and interest.
I could honestly watch +9 hours hours series made in a style of 90's rpg cinematics. Just to have a really good story and voice acting, it would be a smashing hit.
I get that Sandro's plan was to trick Gem and Crag Hack into getting him those artifacts and he disguised himself as a living human to do so... but why is it that he used his real name and why is it that Gem and Crag Hack didn't even know who he is? All three of them are veterans of two major wars back in Enroth and Crag Hack fought on the same side as Sandro during the Succession War since their respective factions sided with Archibald Ironfist. I also have to figure with Gem having a seething hatred of necromancy and being one of the greatest heroes to fight under Roland Ironfist's banner, she would have likely come up against Sandro in battle, or at the very least knew him by reputation as one of Archibald's most powerful necromancers.
15:20-15:49 Meanwhile in my fan campaing, Sandro's vulgar brother said it was easy to defeat Gelu's, Catherine's and Gem's armies, but it would be difficult to beat the good Death Knight - Mike, yeah i know i'm hardcore
