7:55 everything looks better when it's on fire 11:14 This idea was really good, I loved it, one thing that maybe would be cool is to have put shackles on the zombie that was being pulled, and an iron gauntlet on the hand that is holding the whip, maybe it would be cool 16:58 holy shit, it turned out really good, and as a wow fan I loved seeing this, and the doll in his hand made it even more sinister and cool 23:59 one idea would be to put some kind of tail to give an impression of more dark fabric floating along with the fabric in the hem, I think it would work. But regardless of that, the end result was pretty cool and macabre
Damn you're right, shackles on the leashed zombie would have been fantastic And yeah, you're right, I was not fully happy with the floating effect either, there were probably better ways to do it But thankyouthankyou G :D
I will once again do the CLAIM YOUR DERFSCORD TICKET HERE Because I have no other ideas to comment other than "great models Derf" and "ALL HAIL THE SWEDEN" anyway that's all for me i guess
Love the Abomination and Revenant details you put into them. Also using camouflage decal to simply add some texture to the cloths? Yes please. Also… SNOWBALL.
Personally I don't even like to use double models very much and find single models can look just as cool and maybe even more refined than double models if you know what you're doing.
Yeah I actually agree in a lot of cases - it's why I try to mix in more single models in my more recent builds - also because I know most people don't like to muck around with double models too much
Probably gonna sound dumb, but I have to ask - That hand glitch you're using, how do you do it? It looks awesome and I'd love to use it with my builds.
I plan to explain it in a tip video coming up soon! However, it's a small glitch so it's possible it'll be patched at any moment Since you're asking I'll give you an ahead-of-time TLDR though; put an item which has a 'Twist' slider in a hand, like the Snowball I used, twist it around, then Trashcan the twist posing you did on it, and after you've done that, Ctrl-Z to Undo and it'll just disappear but leave the hand posing intact. It's very nice if you want one of those 'wider' grips, like the zombies grasping out into the air
Put snowball in hand Twist it Trashcan the twist-posing-changes Ctrl-Z after doing so It disappears but keeps hand posing Will include a walkthrough of this in an upcoming tip video
The background music around the Burning Zombies somehow reminds me of this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jWCWUNB6MTc.html Edit: How do you do the snowball hand glitch?
I'll be making an updated colour library video eventually - for now though, you can open those models with the links in the Description and take the colours from there
Does anyone know how to access that projected decal setting he used to place the tattoos on the noble cultists one? I've looked everywhere (unless it's a pro option?)
Question. Does similarity to models you've already made play a factor in which models you pick from the contest? Like if it's too similar, you'd maybe prioritize others? I feel like mine is kinda similar to the Revenant concept, except riding a boar and a few other minor differences. I think I was the first to utilize the new mounts update in my submission. If so, it's totally fine. It makes sense. I'm just curious.
If it was my own choice, it might - but the winners of this contest are decided by democratic votes from the people in the Discord, so whether it ends up in a video or not is not up to me! Basically, don't worry about them looking similar!
@@Derfholm OK, gotcha. Also, I desperately wanna see someone try purchasing one of these extravagant models. Double models, mounts, overly detailed, everything. It'd be expensive as heck and would probably break in transit, but I'd love to see someone at least attempt it.
@@matthewscorner2990 Oh I think it actually works surprisingly well in most cases from what I've heard - though I think with enough tails & bows it'll eventually break
