Interesting that you guys don’t seem to rate the Mahud Raiders! I play against them often and it might just be hot dice but I always tend to get ganked by them. I always try avoid and shoot them as much as possible but they’re an incredibly scary second wave and can use the impaler hits to free themselves from getting tagged up even if they lose the move. Probably just scarred from statistically skewed dice though, last game I lost 6 elves to one camel and that was the game
Going to a teams tournament in Canada in early November. 750 points, 4 person teams with a theme spread across all 4 armies. Any ideas on themes for the team I’ll be joining?

I played against Mr Moore in the final round with my numenor/lothlorien. I made a few blunders (I blame the heat) and the Uber spider queen ate me 😆. Well played Mr Moore! He said he had the two black shields because he liked the models 👍 I think the last round match up of destroy the supplies was a challenge for me. Probably should have given up one supply and tried to pick off the spider queen as I had a banner. You live and learn 😆
@@lukesenyshyn4886 Hey Luke, I'm the xbow pike man from this vid. Ideally yes i'd have the dunland guys to fill my front ranks, but in that regard it was a 'I'll take what I have'. In terms of xbow pikemen, its about positioning them pikes so the -1 to the duel doesnt impact that much, so I have them supporting more favourable matchups, and keep them spread in my backline. I kept a tally (I played all 4 games with the Isengard list) of fights I lost due to the -1 to duel, only 4 across the whole tourney, and none were key fights. I would say I probably had a couple too many, so in future will tweak my ratio slightly
