It really is! I'll be indoors working on something and then I hear the terns first, squawking up a storm, then I go out and the sound is loud but wonderful.

I'm so sad you can no longer make your trips down Cape, but I hope my little videos can be postcards to job your own memories. And heavens, how the Cape has changed in the past 50 years, yet there is still a magical element to it that keeps it almost out of or still in time. I often find many feel that same spell of it's beauty from their own time here, despite what decade it was for them.

Hello there dear Donna, oh happy Sunday to you. What a lovely beautiful sight to see,the sounds also of the lovely creatures, so very enjoyable, uplifting, relaxing and more..I do so love herons and snowy egrets. We usually see 2 in a field on the way to mums,,I think they are probably looking for little frogs 🐸. This time of year its so special, its warm and sunny some days then back to damp and chilly today. Its lovely to remember we have the warm weather to come. It is still spring time i believe.the creatures do as they always do dont they. Its a way of letting us know too..Donna all your films cc are just lovely, thankyou so much, I hope you rest as well as working with your chores. You are so kind. This is the time of the year I get so busy, but I am determined this year to at least send out my little videos once a week until I can settle back down. It's a magical time when the animals return and the plants wake up and dot the shore with color.

And we so happy to have them back! I've notice a new pair of loons (whose plaintive call is dreamy in the morning) have come for the Summer and so many sand pipers and plovers this year as well.

I'm so happy I can bring back loving childhood memories. I adore Nova Scotia. Our friends have a house on the shore there and the sandstone beach is magical, as is the waterfall nearby we can hike to, such a magical place.
