It is FM23 Rebuild time, and we take our talents to Germany this weekend to rebuild Hertha Berlin.
They're a former 2-time champion of the German top-flight, however, Hertha's relegation to the second tier was confirmed on Matchday 33 as they conceded a last-minute equalizer to draw 1-1 with Bochum.
This means they will be playing their football next season in the 2. Bundesliga and using the power of an FM23 Custom Database, that is exactly where we will pick things up!

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

As a Hertha fan I wish we were represented more accurately in FM so saves would be more realistic. The game always gives you way more money than the club actually has (debt, overpaid players and staff). The club is even struggling to get approved for the license for the 2. Bundesliga atm due to liquidity issues. Any player on a significant wage will be shipped out this summer, so getting promoted will be no easy task.

I don’t doubt that. Most viewers think all leagues are like the Premier League where you get huge parachute payments…. But that’s not the case. Please keep me posted on the 2. Bundesliga issue as that’s need to me!!

ABB!!!! I'm just starting a Glory Hunter with Hertha. In season three and so far just have a DFB Pokal in the trophy chest. Got to the quarter finals of the Europa last year and currently looking like I'll qualify out of the Champions league League Phase including beating PSG 2-0 in Berlin. Defintely a fun team to manage.

Always enjoy your rebuilds, but just wanted to comment a compliment about something else: The way you *slide* the face-cam around, rather than just ‘making it appear elsewhere’ is a much better way of doing things. It’s much less jarring that the way I’ve seen other people do it. Nice job.

Hi mate, good video :) just fyi: Hertha will most likely be close to bankruptcy, even struggling to get the license for the second division. So spending 50 mil in the first season might be a bit unrealistic 😄

How do you get Bundesliga clubs in your kit pack? I use Standard kits too but Bundesliga and Ligue 1 kits are in a different style since they’re already licensed

Nice video like always, love those rebuilds 🔥 If you are looking for a team to do next, you could do AS Nancy Lorraine (my hometown team). From finishing 4th in Ligue 1 in 2007 and beating Schalke 3-0 in UEFA Cup the next season to down in 4th division this year with the club likely to disapear.. sad destiny but nice for a rebuild !

Dostum son sezonda şampiyon olmaya bayılıyorsun öncelikle bunu söylemeliyim 🎉 hertha gerçek hayatta aslında geçen sezon düşmeyi haketmişti ama kısmet bu seneymiş. Senin kariyerinde de bundesligaya çıktıktan sonra her sene şampiyonlar ligi potası. Transferlerde harika doku, orkun vs. Çok güzel bir kariyer hikayesi. Ama artık islandinav liglerinden de bekliyoruz lütfen
