I got one of these when they first launched from the guys that make them. I had the same impression INITIALLY. When I first started out I really like the grip. I liked the way it felt. Then after playing with it for a bit I realized I was sailing an abnormal amount of balls long and out. Not sure if it makes the paddle springier, but I had a hard time controlling the ball when this grip was on. Once I took the grip off and went back the game went back to where it was before, which was better than with the grip on. So just a word of caution on these grips, you might have issues and not realize it's the grip.

I just put on my Hesacore, and over wrap. Ive played 2 times with it 4 hours worth. It makes Eastern very easy to find repeatably. but in my opinion one hand switching to Continental for backhand blocks and punches or roll volleys at the NVZ are harder to switch to on the fly. The Continental bevel (bevel 2) is smaller and so the Hesacore "Holes" are smaller, on the bevel 3 (eastern) they are big and your knuckle and finger tips sink into them well for Eastern. But Im not sure I can stick with the grip because Continental is so nebulous and not solid to me. plus its hard to switch because the bevel 3 pockets are so pronounced compared to the bevel 2.

Hey I'm not sure if you'll see this but Id like some tips on making a custom grip that could potentially go into production if done correctly. Lmk

Sorry. I don't mean to be a dk, but if you're gonna review it, then give us something to go by... what's it made of? What's the difference between the colors? (The black one costs more...why?). Do they get sweaty? Do they get slippery? I feel like I watched this and got nothing out of it. I want to support your channel, but unfortunately you need more meaningful content. Thanks!

you MUST overgrip. They are too slippery to use by themselves...unless you are a freak and don't sweat at all.

How much weight do they add to the static weight?

0.53-0.56 ounces depending on the size you get. 0.58 ounces if you get the elongated

@@LightOfNyx6 remember you're removing the stock grip though, and with the thickness of these, if you double grip, you probably will only need one. So, the .56 weight minus the weight of the stock grip and one overgrip, really negates a good bit of the weight. You aren' tactually adding .56.

The Tour in small added .6 ounces and the medium added .65 ounces… not including a thin overgrip. With a ribbed HEAD brand grip plus overgrip, my DBD paddle was 8.45 ounces. After swapping in the Tour in medium, my paddle weighed 8.65. The feel was nice but made my paddle feel sluggish with the added weight.
