PVC pipes will break under moderate wind conditions. fiberglass UV-protected rods are a must!

you need to put that into Production, thats as good as any i have seen.

4 years ago, I purchased a well know brand of Hex-Beam. The second year it was up, we got a little ice loading in the spring. I had all the supports installed, including the "Ice-load" supports. They didn't work. Two of the fibreglass rods broke at the U-bolt where they attach to the base. I took it down and repaired it and had it back in the tower that fall. Last year, during the late spring-early summer, it broke again (same place as the first time). when installed, the Hex beam out performs any antenna I've installed, including my 3-element beam so I will repair it again and get it back on the tower for "radio season" aka winter. This design looks very sturdy and I can't halo but feel that if I had of purchased (or built) something like this, I wouldn't have had to repair mine so much. Very nice build Thahir. Thanks for the encouraging comments. I done one for me as an experiment. My friend VU2OT om Vikas happened to see it and asked me to homebrew one for him also, he took it with him to abroad and worked from ther with his sa call sign A75GT and made it very popular, he even named it 'Taha Beam'. In the video you see it's second version, the thumbnail picture is third version. 73, de VU2TAH tAha.

@@Timon42 thanks for the comment. I done this for more stability and strong. I don't have any workshop or garage, it is purely homebrewed. Base plate cutting, aluminium flange and anodizing outsourced. Rest everything I do. For more photos go to hamphotos.com/profile

Ths Antenna looks fantastic. Still haven't made my final decission yet which one to buy, SP7IDX or VU2TAH. Takes me a couple more nights to sleep it over to pick. Great job done, Thahir. 73's from Germany

deepak bhatti materials used are UV treated fibreglass, Aluminium, SS 304, etc...!
