Many thanks for this beautiful hexagon cardigan pattern in DC!!! (Because I am not a fan of the granny square version😉.) For extra info , I finished 1 part (my chest circumference is 105cm) and I used 1 entire ombré skein of 200gr=700meter microfiber acrylic, bought in Turkey (for crochet hook 2-3, I am using 3 as recommended)... looks ok at the moment, but I would advise 800 meter , just to be on the safe side😆. Fingers crossed when I finish the second part and assemble it🤞

I'm also not a fan of Granny squares. But I'm wondering if there's a way to make the sleeves longer and the body not so long.. like sort of a longer crop top look??

On row three I ended up with (13) double crochets on each side oppose to your stated (11) double crochets on each side. Also, initially it was instructed to chain (2) then two more double crochets. Once you proceeded farther in pattern row you instruct - make sure there’s a chain (3) at every corner. Is it (2) or (3)? Never mind, I went back and rewatched. Decided to use three chains at every corner.the skinny white yarn was difficult to see. Thanks for a tutorial on this particular variety.

@@EverythingGwenny no, there are no written instructions, because you don't really need them. This design starts the same way for all sizes.

One question. Sometimes you say 2 chains in the corner sometimes 3 chains. Should it always be 3 or some some rows have 2? Lovely sweater!

Maybe you figured it out in the meantime, but on the 3 rows of double crochets(=dc) you need to put 2dc-chain 2-2dc in the corners. On the 1 row of mesh (1dc-ch1-1dc) stitch you put 1dc-chain3-1dc. Hope this can help. Indeed this is a beautiful pattern for a hexagon cardigan!

SCHEEPJES is pronounced in English: SHEP-ESS. I only found this out a few months ago from a crochet designer called Esther Dijkstra from the crochet channel: IT'S ALL IN A NUTSHELL. This is an excellent crochet site. Hope this helps :-)
