I just received some of your hexi iron ons but am having a hard time figuring out the sticky side - they both look shiny to me though one side is rougher to the touch than the other. Please help!
Can you hold it up to the light to see the shiny glue. It is probably the rougher side you describe. If you stuck it to the iron quickly pick it off and put other side down into the fabric without burning your fingers
So basically any lightweight fusible interfacing would work, I would have never thought of that even though Ive used that for appliqué! Something like Sulky Fabri Solvy might work too, sticky back water soluble stabilizer for machine embroidery.
I loved your Craftsy class and am excited to find you on RU-vid. Thank you for the clear instructions! I’ve worked with your 1 inch hexies for a table mat and am looking forward to making a grandmother’s flower garden with the larger size.
I want to place an order for the iron on pre cuts....I was just wondering if it is taking a really long time to get the orders since Covid Just wondering so I can get started....ty for your video....it was great
Using the glue basting on freezer paper templates how long in advance can I glue the hexagons? Meaning how long is it ok to leave them glued before I remove the paper so that the paper removes ok?
