Just got it from Wal-Mart today, i plan on watching it again since i saw the TV airing on Nick back in November. It was great that they were finally able to wrap up the story after leaving the fans hanging for over 15 years. Having Arnold find his parents finally after so long was a satisfying conclusion that we were all waiting for.
I bought this not too long ago along with Rugrats Seasons 3 & 4. I watched the premiere back in November and I loved it. Heck, I even got teary-eyed for a bit. It's too bad the movie has no special features like deleted scenes or the Hey Arnold Pilot.
The Jungle movie was great. The Creator Craig Bartlett said about 50% of the script that was written was cut out by Nickelodeon for time restraints but even with that, they did a good job.
Ray lol, I'm use to finding stuff like this at thrift stores for $1.99 or just wait til Amazon drops their price in half which always happen. I try my best to not waste money.
I know right? I liked the movie but with the fan base and the fact a lot of the actors came back, extras would have been awesome. But at least Paramount is going to release an ultimate collection of Hey Arnold which will include bonus features.
Phillip Fanning Me too! Hopefully Fairly OddParents will be the next NickToon to get retail releases from Paramount after they finish releasing Rugrats.
Donnell Coleman They also used to have the rights to Rugrats but now Paramount is releasing Rugrats in stores. I’m sure that they can do the same for The Fairly OddParents.
I Just Got It Today And It Was A Awesome Revival Of A Classic Funny Show. And Did You Know Alfred Molina From Movies Like Spider Man 2 And Rango Was In There?
Nice unboxing! I ordered it from Amazon for 17.99, and is supposed to be here tomorrow. I both liked and didn’t like the movie, for SPOILERS the reunion of his parents was kinda bland, and they weren’t really like “Arnold?” like I expected them to act. It also felt rushed near the end (which is nots Craig’s fault.) I think if they had a half hour longer, it woulda been perfect. Besides those two things, the movie was pretty good! I guess I was just too hyped for the movie. I am sad that the DVD dosen’t come with special features, because Craig said there was like half of content that didn’t make it into the final project which I woulda loved to seen unfinished anamations for those scenes.
I agree. The way his parents were was unexpected, and a little too much happened all at once towards the end. I also didn't really like that Helga and Arnold sort of became a couple. But overall it was really good.
I was hoping that the DVD would have included an extended cut. Overall pretty good but not as great as it could of been. It makes wish Craig Bartlett was able to make this movie the way he intended. At least it got made though.
I'm planning on getting avatar the last Airbender complete series on DVD because I remember when I was little and first came out it was 39.99 so I decided to wait because it was so much money for me but now the wait is over now it,s 24.99 so I'm definitely getting it now
The way I look at this movie. This was going to be the 2002 Hey Arnold movie, but then they ditched that in favor of the mediocre "save the neighnorhood" story we ended up with. If Paramount and Niceklodeon had stuck to their guns and made The Jungle Movie THE official 2002 "Hey Arnold" movie, it would've done better in theaters and The Jungle Movie we ended up with wouldn't have tanked in views.
This was suppose be a 2nd movie to make up the 1st but didn't get a green light n then just say end it till fans start asking nonstop n finally it back then now we got it and we also getting rocko modern life movie n nicktoons movie like who framed Roger rabbit
Hey J....I was at Wal-Mart last night and saw the Flintstones Diamond complete collection for $60.00. I wanted to jump on it! The packaging looks great, but I was afraid that the discs would be packaged similar to the other Diamond releases, where the discs are stacked. Have you seen this set? I have searched RU-vid and don't see any unboxings yet. Let me know! Thanks!
I bought it at walmart. It's in a case that flips. The only difference compared to the previous releases, the Artworks on the discs are a little diffenent than the previous releases are different. The photos are the same But they aren't in full color. They are clear labels with the everything skecthed out with one color
no problem. Also, there are only 20 discs this time instead of 24. The original release, had less episodes on discs and some double sided discs. Not this time. There are more episodes on the discs. I haven't watched it so IDK if the features are still intact or not.
I just jetted over to Wal-Mart. They had one copy in stock, and the slipcover, etc. was in absolute pristine condition. So I picked it up. I had one loose disc out of 20, and it was fine. It does come with a nice episode guide. I'll have to dive in and see if the extras are ported over from the original sets. But I am REALLY happy to have this in my collection. Thanks a ton! :)
You unboxers are disgusting with the whining. I’m a collector as well and nothing about this bothers me. Get over it and stop trashing them for having a grey disc
That's okay with me. There are plenty of other youtube unboxers who focus on other things that you might like better. I make my videos about things that are important to me, and if other people don't like it, that's okay. I recommend you continue shopping for your favorite youtube unboxing channel.
